I agree. In my local district, they voted for a paltry pay raise for the teachers. The teachers are mad, some are leaving. District says it doesn’t have the money for more. Many kids are leaving the district too, some for other schools, most for online schools or homeschools.
The tide is turning towards going against public schools, but it will be bumpy until then. I’m glad you got to homeschool. I agree it’s the best choice. I have many friends who are as well.
