The media is sure pushing the "random shooting" explanation for the Q train shooting of a Goldman Sachs researcher.
Enriquez, a 48-year-old Goldman Sachs researcher heading to brunch with his brother, was sitting in the last car of a Manhattan-bound Q train as it approached the Canal St. station when he was shot in the chest about 11:45 a.m. Sunday.
Makes me think it isn't a random shooting.

Enriquez, who joined Goldman’s Global Investment Research division in 2013, was killed in a shooting on a Q train headed into Manhattan from Brooklyn on Sunday morning. A gunman fired one shot, striking the 48-year-old in the chest in an unprovoked attack,
“Daniel Enriquez was a dedicated and beloved member of the Goldman Sachs family for nine years,” the investment firm’s Chairman and CEO David Solomon said in a statement. “He worked diligently to support our Macro Research team in New York and epitomized our culture of collaboration and excellence. We are devastated by this senseless tragedy.”
