I forsee a further divestment/exodus/diaspora from micro$oft, just as is currently happening with goggle.

It'll happen slower because businesses need to have uptime and infrastructure, but it will continue to happen.

BSD and Linux distributions are already a lions share of the digital infrastructure. The desktop distributions though, have come a long way, and in recent years we have seem a maturation of non-m$ domain management/provisioning tools, at a fraction of the cost of m$-base domain service equipmentโ€ฆ It's a matter of time, sure, but I see that pace picking up in the business world.

Invest in oses that aren't microsoft (or ubuntu, they're partners) based; Especially if you're a tech.

Whenever people ask me about Ubuntu, I point them at Debian instead.

Ubuntu is essentially a fork of Debian, Debian being the libre os, and Dbuntu being the corporate offshoot.

Might as well go to the real source if you're going to learn a platform ;)

And think of this:

The President prefers talking to regular joe/jane football fans- Because they're normal people. And now he's personally entertaining 1,000 of them.

Word of mouth media bs. Just saying. He's my President ;)
