I have followed as best as I can the Canadian Trucker Convoy

and the convoy known as "The People's Convoy."

The People's Convoy was disbanded officially and has been reborn.

The man leading the new group, the remnant of the former group,

is a man named David LIddell, aka "Santa."

He is a strong person and is shaping an army out of

some unlikely characters, for the most part.

How shall I say, the ending of the "free ride" of the first convoy

was not taken happily by some in this group.

I will offer my own observations.

It certainly makes for an interesting story.

The original organizers were good Christian men.

They had experience talking with legislators.

They had worked on trucker rights issues.

After the Canadian truckers made a stand for their rights

these Americans wanted to show their support.

The movement was to be strictly committed to non-violence.

It was to have no political party leanings.

The issues were American rights.

End the emergency declaration. Stop the mandates.

Give the people the truth about the "vaccine."

They had doctors speak at the convoy meetings.

Their idea was to take the convoy into DC

while the leadership had meetings with Congressmen.

Very few would even talk to them.

The roads were blocked to DC. The convoy just circled the city.

They could not get any media coverage.

Members of the convoy had suffered hardships

and had grown impatient for there to be changes.

There were quite a few troublemakers in the crowd.

When there is an insurgency at play

someone tries to assume a leadership position

and then use the "support of the people" to back him/her up.

Of course, it's possible to bring your own group with you.

If not, an insurgent seeking to influence a movement

will use his/her charms, money, laughter, loud comments,

and even kindness, to ingratiate himself to the people.

Things hard to see at the time, now come back more clear.

It's an interesting story.

The desire for violence imposing itself on the non-violent.

Christians vs the heathens

He speaks as if he was part of the decision process.

He claims he isn't a spokesman for the convoy

Pat Gray's response is, "You are now, truck driver."

He uses emotion to connect to people.

He is a very smart speaker.

At the end they ask him to blow his horn.

He blows the truck's horn and says,

"This is the sound of my people."

"Santa" claims now that he is not a member of the Proud Boys.

He doesn't know where people got that idea.

April 12, he wore his colors.

First time I noticed this. California.

I could not find a good pic of his back insignia.

Doing research, there are many different ones.
