Russia Blacklist

#518 Troy Miller

Troy A. Miller is the Deputy Commissioner for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). In this role, he serves as the agency’s senior career official, overseeing the daily operations of CBP’s expansive mission, including matters relating to trade, travel, and national security.

I have to assume this is the Troy Miller referenced in the Blacklist since so many of the others on the list appear to be involved in trafficking-related crimes. The Russia list doesn't specify Troy "A." Miller. Have to be careful. It's a fairly common name–There is a Hollywood director-producer, a composer, and several others.

There was also a couple by the names of Troy and Lea Ann Miller in Wisconsin who abused their daugher. They forced [her] to wear a dog’s shock collar, which her mother would use to shock her until the batteries died; drink waste water as punishment; was beaten with sticks, plastic and metal pipes to the point that one of her thumbs was permanently disfigured, and had her teeth knocked out or severely damaged after being repeatedly struck by a hammer.

The Millers were charged with multiple counts of various forms of abuse. After an attempt to jump bail, they each pleaded guilty to multiple charges; Lee Ann was sentenced to 18 years in prison, and Troy to 32 years.

Date: March 2004

Location: Juneau County, Wisconsin

No connection I could find with Russia for this Troy Miller

Russia Blacklist

#543, Sean Michael Moore

This is one is spook-like. They're called spooks, because they tend to die several times. Don't have time to look moar at this one right now but here are a few things.

And you've heard of Michael Moore the film-maker right? This name is VERY spooky.

I'd start with the last one:

Born in Upstate NY, Sean joined the Army in 2006 and served with the esteemed Army Special Forces (Green Berets) until 2012. During that time he deployed twice to Iraq — once to Kirkuk and again in 2008 to Mosul.

Russia Blacklist

#543, Krassimir Stefanov Nikolov

Not sure if this is the same guy or not, name is spelled a little bit different, aliases and all, but here it is:

On Friday, the Justice Department announced that Krasimir Nikolov of Varna, Bulgaria, had been sentenced time served after having already spent 39 months in federal prison since being extradited to the U.S. from Bulgaria in 2016. He was convicted on federal charges of criminal conspiracy, computer fraud, and bank fraud related to the GozNym attacks, according to federal prosecutors.

Article is from December 2019

After being released from federal prison last week, Nikolov, who also went by the online names "pablopicasso," "salvadordali," "karlo," was transferred to the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and will be sent back to authorities in Bulgaria.

Federal prosecutors say that Nikolov worked as an "account takeover specialist" for the group and would use the stolen credentials to access victims' bank accounts and transfer money to other accounts controlled by the gang.

Who knows where this guy is now, except I did find this:

Krassimir Stefanov Nikolov (age 57) is listed at 1920 Stratford Way West Palm Beach, Fl 33409 and is affiliated with the Democratic Party.

This may be his current location, because it's the exact spelling on the Russia list, changed slightly from the name in the arrest–because the WSJ article linked below mentions the following:

Investigators dismantled the criminal group’s network later that year. The hackers sent infected electronic invoices to more than 41,000 victims around the world, including a law firm in Washington, D.C., a distributor of medical equipment in Florida and a Pennsylvania-based shipping-products firm, according to the indictment, which didn’t name the victim companies.
