I have kids in elementary school in Texas
last month there was an armed robbery 3 miles away from our school
school was immediately locked down out of an abundance of caution
these schools have been training and are prepared for this
if i want to gain entrance then i sit in the enclosed and secured foyer while they run my id. these people know me and they know my kids but they always always always follow protocols
