Ray Liotta, the fantastic actor whose career breakthrough came in Martin Scorsese’s crime classic Goodfellas, has died. According to Deadline, Ray Liotta was found dead in his sleep in the Dominican Republic, where he was filming Dangerous Waters.
Liotta was 67 years old and leaves behind a daughter, Karsen. He was engaged to Jacy Nittolo.
Liotta’s filmography spanned four decades. In addition to his acclaimed performance in Goodfellas, Liotta also appeared in films such as Something Wild and Field of Dreams.
He had experienced a resurgence of popularity in recent years, appearing in projects such as the Sopranos prequel The Many Saints of Newark – in which he played two roles – and the Noah Baumbach film Marriage Story.
