Jean-Pierre: This law [Oklahoma abortion ban] is the latest in a growing effort by Ultra-MAGA officials across the country to roll back freedoms that should not be taken for granted.

Jean-Pierre: The leadership of the National Rifle Association has proven time and time again that they are contributing to the problem of gun violence, not trying to solve it. They represent the interest of the gun industry, the gun manufactures, who are marketing weapons of war to young adults.

Jean-Pierre: America has more guns than people in this country. If more guns were the solution, we would be the safest country in the world, but we are not. The president wants action…he wants to turn this pain into action.
