Biden’s Secretary of State Tony Blinken shared today that the US does not support Taiwan’s independence from China. The Daily Mail reported:

Sec. of State Antony Blinken issued a stark warning Thursday morning that the threat of China will ‘test U.S. diplomacy like nothing we’ve ever seen before’ – but insisted America does not want another Cold War and does not support Taiwan independence.

He also said in the speech at George Washington University that China’s cooperation with Vladimir Putin after his invasion of Ukraine ‘raises alarm bells’, Beijing under Xi Jinping has ‘more repressive at home and more aggressive abroad’ and accused the communist party of trying to undermine global order.

Blinken laid out the Biden administration’s policy towards China after the president raised eyebrows by saying the U.S. would get involved ‘militarily’ if there was an invasion of Taiwan.

Blinken has a very suspect past. Perhaps this is why he is happy to turn Taiwan over to the CCP, Blinken’s parents are close with George Soros.

America has always stood for freedom, so although Blinken and Biden may not be, Americans support Taiwan independence. Americans don’t appreciate the fact that every move the Biden Administration makes helps China and hurts the US. Freedom is not part of the Biden agenda. This is not hyperbole, this is serious.

Blinken took a public spanking from China but did not punish them for the China pandemic that killed over a million Americans and created an economic catastrophe.

Blinken also left Americans to fend for themselves in Afghanistan after he gave the country to the Taliban terrorists. This was a national shame.

Israel Rejects US Request To Transfer Missiles To Ukraine

Israel has rejected as US request that it transfer advanced anti-tank missiles manufactured in Germany and based on Israeli technology to Ukraine's forces, according to defense officials quoted in Axios.

The plan was to use Israel as a third party to "allow Berlin to supply Ukraine with anti-tank missiles produced in Germany with Israeli technology under an Israeli license," the report indicates.

Israeli defense leaders reportedly informed undersecretary of defense for policy Colin Kahl in a recent meeting that Tel Aviv would only supply nonlethal military aid to Kiev. Kahl had specifically requested that Israel greenlight the transfer of "Spike" anti-tank missiles, which are made in an Israeli-owned factory in Germany.

Recently Israel only supplied a shipment of 2,000 helmets and 500 protective vests, which were not even designated for military use, but instead intended for emergency responders.

Tel Aviv has long sought to be careful about not angering Russia, given the two countries' interests butt up against each other inside Syria, and relatedly Israel needs Russia's help on the issue of Iranian influence and expansion in the region.

So far the Israelis are said to still be committed providing nonlethal military aid as they continue to come under pressure from Washington.

It was revealed starting early this month that US and Israeli officials held meetings at Ramstein Air Base in which the US side pressured the Israelis to step up their support to the Ukrainians. So far - at least in public anyway - the answer has been a resounding "no" even as Israel-Russia relations have been deteriorating of late.

But likely Tel Aviv doesn't want to see this relationship plummet further, and hopes for some level of cooperation in the region, particularly regarding the entrenchment of Iranian influence. Russia and Israel have a very delicate status quo understanding regarding military action in Syria, and upsetting this could have severe implications for Israeli security priorities.

Sussmann won't testify in own defense in Durham case, as trial moves to closing arguments

Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann will not testify on his own behalf in his Washington, D.C., trial in which he faces a charge of lying to the FBI, his defense team said Thursday.

Special Counsel John Durham last year charged Sussmann with making a false statement to the agency when he allegedly told then-FBI General Counsel James Baker that he was not working on behalf of any client when providing him with since-debunked allegations about a secret communications channel between Russia's Alfa Bank and the Trump Organization.

Durham has presented evidence that Sussmann said he was coming to the FBI in September 2016 as a concerned citizen but that he was in fact working at the time on behalf of two clients — the Clinton campaign and tech firm executive Rodney Joffe.

Durham's investigation centers of the origins of the Russian collusion narrative, which alleged then-Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election.

Sussmann is pleading not guilty to the charge. If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison.

On Wednesday, Sussmann's legal team told the court they were still considering whether to put their client on the stand.

They reportedly said the decision centered on whether the judge in the case would bar prosecutors from asking their client about pre-indictment negotiations between the sides, specifically about materials submitted to the government before charges against Sussmann were filed, according to Fox News.

U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper was set to decide on that motion by Thursday morning.

Sussmann defense attorney Sean Berkowitz said earlier this week the decision on whether to have his client testify depended on Cooper's ruling, Fox also reported.

Berkowitz also read into evidence some notes of the special counsel's interview of Baker earlier this month, which said that he didn't believe Sussmann's text saying he wasn't representing a client affected his decision to meet. Instead, Sussmann's assertion that the issue was time-sensitive and sensitive, along with Baker's trust in Sussmann, is why the FBI general counsel scheduled the meeting for the next day, rather than going through his executive assistant.

The notes were read into evidence because they contradicted Baker's statement on the witness stand that Sussmann representing a client would have affected his decision regarding the meeting.

The prosecution concluded its case on Wednesday. Closing arguments are expected to start Friday, with jury deliberations beginning either that afternoon or Tuesday.

Russia has effectively halted maritime trade at Ukrainian ports, according to newly declassified US intelligence obtained by The Washington Post, putting a threat on the global food supply chain.

Mr Keane, a retired 4-star general, spoke to The Bolt Report on Thursday night and said the US should "stand our ground" and "face up to the risk" against Russia's action.

"I don't believe there should be a NATO operation, I think there should be an international coalition of interested parties who want to see this humanitarian relief take place and avoid a world food shortage," he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

"There's two risks here - one is the mines at sea, and the US has the capability with other nations to remove that.

"The other thing - obviously the Russians are there and that's a risk that could provoke them to take some kind of action."

Mr Keane says he believes the risk of a naval coalition is "acceptable" given the impact of Russia's actions.

"I believe that risk is acceptable given what we believe is going to happen to the world food supply and yes we have every right to be in international waters and to keep the seas open in terms of international global commerce," he said.

"I think we stand our ground and we face up to the risk and lets get on with the operation."

The plan would require safe passage, as well as the agreement of Turkey - a NATO ally - which guards the entrance to the Black Sea.

US launches new ‘China House’

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has announced the launch of a new ‘China House’ within the State Department, made up of a team of diplomats focused on coordinating policy to confront Beijing. The diplomat unveiled the line-up during a Thursday speech at George Washington University.

“The scale and scope of the challenge posed by the People’s Republic of China will test American diplomacy like nothing we’ve seen before,” Blinken stated. “I’m determined to give our Department and our diplomats the tools they need to meet this challenge head on, as part of my modernization agenda,” he said, describing the new body as a “department-wide integrated team” that will work with Congress where needed.

The State Department chief insisted the directional shift, aimed at recentering China in the US’ foreign policy crosshairs even as Washington sends billions of dollars to Ukraine, is not about ramping up tensions with China.

“We aren’t looking for conflict or a new Cold War. To the contrary, we’re determined to avoid both,” Blinken said.

Instead, the US’ strategy is to “invest, align, compete” with what Blinken called “arguably the most important relationship that we have in the world going forward.” He also called China “the most serious long-term challenge to the international order.”

“We will invest in the foundations of our strength at home – our competitiveness, innovation, and democracy. We will align our efforts with our network of allies and partners, acting with common purpose and in common cause. And harnessing those two key assets, we will compete with China to defend our interests and build our vision for the future,” the chief diplomat said.

While the Biden administration has doubled down on its ‘one China policy’, warning Beijing against any actions that might be perceived as impinging on Taipei’s independence, Blinken insisted that Washington’s approach had not changed – instead, it was “Beijing’s growing coercion” and “increasingly provocative rhetoric and activity” that was destabilizing the region

A Churubusco sex offender was recently arrested after being approached by a predator exposure group for having sexual discussions with who he believed were children.

Paul L. Fowler, 53, 5220 N. East Drive, Churubusco, is charged with three counts of child solicitation and failure to register as a sex or violent offender with a prior conviction, all level 5 felonies.

On March 6, officers with the Churubusco Police Department investigated a report of child solicitation. Upon arrival at the scene, officers were informed that Fowler was messaging who he believed to be children online. Officers were also aware that Fowler is a registered sex offender.

According to court documents, during an interview at the Churubusco Police Department, Fowler admitted to messaging girls under the age of 18. Fowler’s phone was submitted into evidence.

A group of people, later identified as Mothers Against Predators, told officers that Fowler had sexual conversations with three decoys who were posing as underage, female children.

Another group, Bikers Against Predators, has been involved in numerous arrests in north individuals caught in their video feeds. This is the first arrest publically connected to Mothers Against Predators in Kosciusko County.

Fowler said when he woke up, the group came to his home to confront him about his online activities. Fowler told officers he had recently relapsed with using methamphetamine and that he discussed sexual matters with the decoys. He said the sexual conversations only happened when he was using drugs.

Fowler acknowledged that he was under the impression all three people he talked with were underage and that he discussed sexual topics with all of them. He told officers he never had any intentions of meeting any of them in-person but that messages on his phone would make it sound like the opposite.

Documents provided to officers from Mothers Against Predators showed chat messages between Fowler and the decoys.

On April 3 and 6, officers received reports regarding cellphone data on Fowler’s phone. Officers found nine social media apps that are capable of being used to message other individuals.

On Fowler’s sex offender registry, Fowler registered a Facebook account and four email addresses but no other social media.

Fowler was booked in the Whitley County Jail on May 24.

"No sir, I will not stand down, I will not retreat, because women in this country are not gonna stand for some unelected body to tell us that we don't have the right to control the circumstances and the when and where in which we produce our children!" Lightfoot said.

Lightfoot went on to rant about tourism some more before the interview turned into a screaming match.

In recent years, the band have continued to tour internationally as one of the most recognisable groups from the era.

In a statement tonight on Twitter, Depeche Mode said: 'We are shocked and filled with overwhelming sadness at the untimely passing of our dear friend, family member and bandmate Andy 'Fletch' Fletcher.

'Fletch had a true heart of gold and was always there when you needed support, a lively conversation, a good laugh or a cold pint.

'Our hearts are with his family and we ask that you keep them in your thoughts and respect their privacy at this difficult time.'

No cause of death was revealed by the band.Fletcher last hit the headlines last month when he fractured his wrist on holiday in Barcelona.

Tributes poured in for the musician from across the entertainment world.
