Saw the interview this morning. He has asked LEOs to look into it because those records are sealed due to them being juveniles at the time. It's not confirmed that it was the same kid.

You are correct about that. But if that really was him that got arrested and spent time in juvenile facility, his lawyer (if he was worth a damn) would definitely request the records to be sealed. Which is why it doesn't show up on a background check as an adult. I guess when the law was written, there wasn't a huge problem with kids wigging out and making these kinds of threats. The law certainly needs to be changed to account for these situations.
