The shooter had to emerge from the passenger door. From this photo both the drivers side wheels are broken off and there is a huge gouge in the side. Looks like this vehicle was rammed prior to entering the ditch. Haven't seen a police vehicle with damage but this is a lot of damage for simply driving your truck into a ditch. Added to the graphic.
Okay ramming the truck with a brush guard (as is on this vehicle) would cause that kind of damage. If he was already involved with the police though it screws up the timeline they are trying to sell. Grandma's house is very close to the school. Would have been world's shortest high speed chase.
Was an F150 (older) that belonged to grandma. Details (including VIN) made the notables. Agree with you that the narrative is rotten. Needs eyes on until it all crumbles.
