In the USASpending.gov database. The majority of the contracts are let by the Dept. of Agriculture - >$158 Million dollars for all FYs. From the previous dig - their helicopters are used to fight fires. Place of performance map on advanced search has the majority of the money going to Colorado, which is where they are headquartered in the US. Changed the map from state view to county view, and since California is notorious for wildfires, looked up largest California disasters. Can't see where the "place of performance" on the map matches any of the largest wildfires, despite the fact that one contract specifically states: "CRITICAL FUNCTIONS - NATIONAL EXCLUSIVE USE INITIAL ATTACK HELICOPTER SERVICES FOR WILDLAND FIREFIGHTING." Hover over specific areas, the amount of money spent will show up.

It's interesting that the highest # of new awards occur in 2021….#2023 new awards????

This particular contract was let in 2014, ended in 2018 and has a $30 Million dollar price tag.
