‘Guns Should Not Be In The Hands Of The Mentally Unstable,’ Says Senile Man With Nukes

WASHINGTON, D.C.—A senile old man in Washington who has a deadly nuclear arsenal at his fingertips is calling for dangerous weapons to be taken out of the hands of the mentally unstable.

"Listen, folks, this shouldn't be difficult," said the yammering old geriatric to a duck in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. "The mentally unstable shouldn't have guns! It's dangerous! Think of what could happen, Jack! They could fire it blindly through their front door because they heard a noise, or leave it right out in the open where a Taliban terrorist could pick it up, or accidentally kill innocent people they thought were bad guys but turned out to be foreign aid workers!" The man then dove face-first into the pool because he thought he saw an ice cream cone there.

Many Democrats are warning of chaos and death if mentally unstable people such as themselves ever get their hands on a firearm. "It would be a disaster," said one Democratic strategist. "Think of putting weapons in the hands of people who can't even define what a 'woman' is! I shudder at the thought! Please disarm us immediately!"

"It's real simple," said the old man as he climbed out of the Reflecting Pool, disappointed to not have found any ice cream. "Guns, tanks, drones, nukes—all that stuff—we gotta take those away from people who aren't mentally fit!"

At publishing time, the man was on the run after taking an ice cream cone he mistook for a handgun out of the hands of a tourist.

Obama Encourages Americans To Pause This Memorial Day To Remember The Sacrifice Of George Floyd

MARTHA’S VINEYARD, MA—From his coastal estate that will probably be underwater in ten years, former President Barack Obama issued a statement today encouraging Americans to honor Memorial Day by remembering the sacrifice of George Floyd.

The statement read in part, “We mark this somber occasion by celebrating a hero who gave his all so that all Americans can be free to know what horrible racists they all are."

Racist Americans everywhere expressed appreciation for the sentiments of the former president. Laid-off baby formula factory worker James Reily echoed the views of many by saying, “Memorial Day is one of those holidays where it’s easy to get caught up in the insignificant things, like bar-b-q’s and laying flowers at the graves of fallen soldiers. I’m glad President Obama took the time to remind everyone of the most important things about America, which is that we’re terrible, and we elected Barack Obama. Twice.”

Summer Activities To Enjoy With Your Libertarian Kid

Summer is heeeeeeere! Oh wait, you're an adult and have kids. Now you have to figure out what to do with them before you are driven to the edge of madness. What a drag!

Don't panic. We've got some great summer activity ideas for you and—Whoa, you have a libertarian kid? That's even worse!

Try these libertarian themed summer activities:

1) Go to the beach: If you bring a shovel and a metal detector you can mine for bitcoin. Is that how it works? We're still not sure.

2) Start a podcast: Oh, your libertarian child already has a podcast, doesn't he? Never mind.

3) Grow a garden: Yes, for Christmas trees. Definitely nothing else.

4) Set up a lemonade stand: Make sure it doesn't take fiat currency. Precious metals are acceptable.

5) Go to the Grand Canyon: Tell everyone their view is subsidized by taxes on working-class Americans.

6) Buy a 3D Printer: For lightsaber replicas, figurines, and ghost guns.

7) Tour Europe: Just be careful not to form any foreign alliances.

8) Light summer reading: Sowell, Hayek, and Tuttle Twins will get you started.

9) Repair the road you paved yourself: Try to avoid using public roads when you go buy the material.

10) Panning for gold: Then you can take all the gold you find and invest it in gold!

11) Storm the Federal Reserve: Just use the plan from Die Hard With a Vengeance. It worked almost perfectly!

12) Tell people to get off your land: A wholesome way to bond with your child.
