People tend to forget, or aren't old enough to remember that Chertoff was the lead counsel for the Whitewater Investigation Committee. In that charade, the Committee "investigated" the Clintons for financial improprieties in a real estate scam, and found them completely innocent. Chertoff, posing as a diligent and honest prosecutor determined to find the facts, was ultimately unable to find any evidence of crimes being committed by the Clintons.

If they were true patriots, the 99% would expose and deal with the 1% who are handling mass killers etc.

But the 99% are too afraid of losing their jobs to clean out the swamp they live in, so they just go with the flow and ignore crimes within their ranks.
