Musk came on the Twitter scene about the same time that Truth Social was about to launch. Looks like an attempt to steer people back onto Twitter. Change its face, adjust its policies (which will be to dole out some bans on left-wingers), and pretend all is well. That way you can keep people from migrating off the platform.
Hope I'm wrong, but I've never trusted Musk. Although people can change their perspective once they start seeing the truth about the left.
