Something seemed really off about the Utah ritualistic child sex trafficking case (other than the abuse of children) ever since this anon saw it on the 2022-01-06 Quite Frankly podcast (shameless plug). The Zell brothers call in and discuss this case starting at the 1:21.12 mark. Clipped version is attached.

If you're not familiar with the Zells, they have been investigating ritualistic crimes for a very long time, including the JonBenét Ramsey case. Their commentary on this case is quite interesting as they think that the Utah Attorney General, David Leavitt, is trying to derail the investigation and possibly warn the other conspirators of the investigation. They also mention that the Sheriff's Office requesting more info and witnesses is almost unheard of in these types of cases, and that nobody said anything about the cannibalism until Leavitt did.
They also speculate that the suspects in the case are high-profile persons in the community and surrounding areas.
