Elon Musk asks why 'leaking' DOJ won't spill Epstein client list: 'Doesn't that seem odd?'

Only thing more remarkable than DOJ not leaking the list is that no one in the media cares. Doesn’t that seem odd?

GOP lawmaker says he would support Trump again if he apologizes for Jan. 6 attack

Rep. Tom Rice (R-S.C.) in an interview broadcast on Sunday said he would consider supporting former President Trump again if Trump apologies for the Jan 6, 2021 attack at the Capitol.

“There’s no way you can support [Trump] again?” co-host Jonathan Karl asked Rice, one of the ten Republican lawmakers who voted to impeach the former president for his role in the insurrection, on ABC’s “This Week.”

“No, there’s one way…if he apologized,” Rice told Karl.

Scalise on Fox on guns: You had..Democrats cursing out the Second Amendment. You had members saying, well, if we can’t get this, we're going to blow up the filibuster and pack the Supreme Court to get around the Second Amendment.

The Second Amendment is not some guideline. It's part of the United States Constitution in the Bill of Rights..every day in America, people use guns to defend themselves.

The two lawyers were facing domestic terrorism charges and the possibility of 30 years in jail. This week, the Biden Administration agreed to a massive reduction of the charges in a plea agreement that will likely result only in a couple years of jail time.

These two defendants were participating in an effort that could have burned officers alive as a form of protest. They will now be given sentences closer to tax fraud than terrorism.

It is a sharp contrast to the harsh position taken by the Biden Justice Department on many of those accused of rioting on January 6th. AG Garland cited the threat to police officers in pledging an unprecedented effort to charge those involved "on any level" in the riot.

Peter Navarro was charged with contempt of Congress by a monopartisan Committee. He got shackles.

Eric Holder was held in contempt of Congress by a bipartisan vote of 255-67. He went out to dinner that night.

And DC wonders why people believe in the Swamp.

Inflation divide: The wealthy splurge, the poorest pull back

Americans at the low end of the income rung are once again struggling to make ends meet.

A confluence of factors — the expiration of federal stimulus checks and surging inflation on staples like gas and food — are driving an even bigger wedge between the haves and have-nots.

While wealthier shoppers continue to splurge, low-income shoppers have pulled back faster than expected in the past two months. They're focusing on necessities while turning to cheaper items or less expensive stores. And they're buying only a little at a time.

It's a reversal from a year or so ago when low-income shoppers, flush with money from the government and buoyed by wage increases, were able to spend more freely.

‘It’s going to be an army’: Tapes reveal GOP plan to contest elections

“Being a poll worker, you just have so many more rights and things you can do to stop something than [as] a poll challenger,” said Matthew Seifried, the RNC’s election integrity director for Michigan, stressing the importance of obtaining official designations as poll workers in a meeting with GOP activists in Wayne County last Nov. 6. It is one of a series of recordings of GOP meetings between summer of 2021 and May of this year obtained by POLITICO.

“Democrats have had a monopoly on poll watching for 40 years, and it speaks volumes that they’re terrified of an even playing field,” said RNC spokesperson Gates McGavick. “The RNC is focused on training volunteers to take part in the election process because polling shows that American voters want bipartisan poll-watching to ensure transparency and security at the ballot box.”

In the introduction graphic on his training presentation, Seifried says the RNC’s goal is to “make it easy to vote and HARD TO CHEAT.”

Scalise says red flag laws are ‘unconstitutional’

“They literally come into your house and take away your gun without you even knowing that there was some kind of proceeding where somebody said, ‘Oh, I think that gun might be a threat,'” the lawmaker said. “Maybe somebody thought taking away a gun from a 19 year old is going to solve a problem. It happens to be unconstitutional.”
