I would submit (without doing any research yet) that mass shootings are more pervasive in third-world countries where guns are outlawed.

Interesting: Considering gun laws, the US has the lowest gun death rate out of the top four countries with the highest gun deaths.

 

Brazil population: 212M

Venezuela population: 28M

Mexico population: 128M

US population: 320M
