Correct, but depending on who calls that name due to the familiarity of that voice, by what inflection, what location it is coming from, and the actual name called; one responds accordingly.
Would you respond to "Hey Mother" by somebody with a nasty voice that you do not recognize in a horrendous place? Hopefully not.
