Any mil anon know why Russia isn't using ANY of its vast air power, e.g., attack helicopters, fighter-bombers, strike drones, etc., in any of the multiple ground actions in Donetsk and Luhansk?? Can't be due to fear of MANPADS that Russia seems to be waging a groundwar only operation. Though playing a masterful chess game with "blooming flowers" and "cauldrons", the Russians still seem to be taking it on the chin when they could easily be using strike drones and attack helicopters instead. WTF is going on? Policy or political reasons??
