Russian oligarch Farkhad Akhmedov calls for EU to return the $460 million superyacht that was once involved in one of the largest divorce settlements in UK history.

The superyacht originally belonged to Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich.. – He seems to be a common thread through much of this and connects to Rothschilds and several other oligarchs.

Last month, Akhmedov's 377-foot superyacht, Luna, was frozen in a German port, according to local media outlet Süddeutsche Zeitung. The vessel, which Akhmedov purchased for about $256 million in 2014, is now valued at about $460 million.

Oleg Vladimirovich Deripaska was the president of En+ Group, a Russian energy company, and headed United Company Rusal (RUSSIA-ALUMINUM), the second-largest aluminium company in the world, until he quit both roles in 2018. In 2000, Deripaska founded Rusal, the result of a partnership between Sibirsky Aluminium and Roman Abramovich's Millhouse Capital. Like most Russian oligarchs, Deripaska had enriched himself on previously state-owned assets that were privatized in the aftermath of the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Deripaska was sanctioned on the heels of U.S. President Donald Trump’s signing of an executive order in September 2016 to impose sanctions on any country or person that tries to interfere in U.S. elections. Trump issued the order amid criticism over his handling of Russian election meddling.

Paul Manafort, Donald Trump's former presidential campaign manager, had ironically negotiated a $10 million annual contract with Deripaska to promote Russian interests in politics, business, and media coverage in Europe and the United States, starting in 2005

Deripaska was earlier placed under U.S. sanctions in 2018 for reasons relating to the 2014 annexation of Crimea by Russia. Deripaska was also one of seven oligarchs sanctioned by the British government over the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Like Roman Abramovich, Deripaska is a friend of Nathaniel Rothschild, who is a major investor in both Glencore, a Swiss multinational commodity trading and mining company, and RUSAL.

Together Deripaska and Rothschild hosted George Osborne and Peter Mandelson on Deripaska's yacht in Corfu in the summer of 2008. Osborne was then Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer of the United Kingdom and a friend of Rothschild from school and university. Peter Mandelson has reportedly maintained private contacts over several years with Oleg Deripaska.

The CIA has long history of associating empty shoes at their shootings. First, for some unknown reason, the TV news feature tons of shoes lying around on the ground after shootings to create a trauma based emotional response with viewers. I guess people just get separated from their shoes when they are shot.

Then the shoes are brought out again at a later time, so the brainwash victims can re-live the trauma of the shooting. The shoes represent seeing dead kids, I guess.

What is Planet Nine?

The yacht’s name refers to a hypothetical dwarf planet. The planet is orbiting the sun in the outer region of the Solar System. Its gravity could explain the unlikely clustering of bodies that orbit beyond Neptune.

As it was being built, the yacht started with the name "Project Nato."

The boat is not available for yacht charter. But the yacht is listed for sale, her asking price is EUR 85 million.

War on Boats

Like the previous Russian oligarchs mentioned in the War on Boats, there are connections between Russian billionaire Andrey Melnichenko and Rothschild banking interests. Plus, Melnichenko owns two boats. In March 2022, following the EU sanctions imposed on the number of Russian businessmen, the Italian authorities seized his Sailing Yacht A, a $500-million luxury vessel, in the port city of Trieste. His second boat, Motor Yacht A, worth $300 million, was last reported in Dubai.

Russian billionaire Andrei Melnichenko is a self-made billionaire with major investments in Switzerland-based fertiliser giant EuroChem Group, and Russia-based coal energy company SUEK.

Melnichenko visited Sri Lanka in March 2021, and held discussions with Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, and several other senior government officials.

Melnichenko is the second such high-profile personality to visit Sri Lanka in that timeframe for potential investment opportunities. Earlier in January, Nathaniel Rothschild, British-born financier and a member of the Rothschild family, visited the country to explore Sri Lanka’s viability for a potential electronic venture.
