Trust The Science? CDC Pulls Its Own New Mask Recommendation After Realizing Monkeypox Doesn’t Spread By Air

After raising the alert level for monkeypox to level 2 on Monday, the CDC also recommended that travelers wear masks.

There’s just one problem.

Monkeypox doesn’t spread by air…

They were immediately called out over that fact and quickly reversed course by pulling their mask recommendation on Tuesday to avoid any “confusion” about the disease.

This was notables last bread, just want to point out their perverse premonition abilities:

DHS Issues National Terrorism Advisory System (NTAS) Bulletin

Release Date: June 7, 2022

WASHINGTON – Today, Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas issued a National Terrorism Advisory System (NTAS) Bulletin regarding the continued heightened threat environment across the United States. This is the sixth NTAS Bulletin issued by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) since January 2021 and it replaces the current Bulletin that was set to expire at 2:00 PM ET today.

In the coming months, DHS expects the threat environment to become more dynamic as several high-profile events could be exploited to justify acts of violence against a range of possible targets. These targets could include public gatherings, faith-based institutions, schools, racial, ethnic, and religious minorities, government facilities and personnel, U.S. critical infrastructure, the media, and perceived ideological opponents.

Threat actors have recently mobilized to violence due to factors such as personal grievances, reactions to current events, and adherence to violent extremist ideologies, including racially or ethnically motivated or anti-government/anti-authority violent extremism.

This NTAS Bulletin will expire on November 30, 2022.

Specific events which [they] anticipate the threat will arise from:

Some domestic violent extremists have expressed grievances related to their perception that the U.S. government is unwilling or unable to secure the U.S.-Mexico border and have called for violence to stem the flow of undocumented migrants to the United States. We assess that there is increased risk of domestic violent extremists using changes in border security-related policies and/or enforcement mechanisms to justify violence against individuals, such as minorities and law enforcement officials involved in the enforcement of border security.

Given a high-profile U.S. Supreme Court case about abortion rights, individuals who advocate both for and against abortion have, on public forums, encouraged violence, including against government, religious, and reproductive healthcare personnel and facilities, as well as those with opposing ideologies.

As the United States enters mid-term election season this year, we assess that calls for violence by domestic violent extremists directed at democratic institutions, political candidates, party offices, election events, and election workers will likely increase.

McConaughey later pulls out of the race, in a tweet: "Matthew McConaughey says he will not run for Texas governor"

“As a simple kid born in the little town of Uvalde, Texas, it never occurred to me that I would one day be considered for political leadership,” McConaughey said. “It’s a humbling and inspiring path to ponder. It is also a path that I am choosing not to take at this moment.”

“What am I going to do? I’m going to continue to work and invest the bounty I have by supporting entrepreneurs, businesses and foundations that I believe are leaders,” he said.

Be interesting to know what "entrepreneurs, businesses and foundations" he has been investing in, wouldn't it?

"The just keep livin Foundation was founded by Camila and Matthew McConaughey with the mission to empower high school students by providing them with the tools to lead active lives and make healthy choices for a better future."

I don't see a partners link, but I will keep looking, this bringing McConaughey out like that at the WH presser just seems creepy to me.
