The clinic I volunteer at offers free ultrasounds. It’s easy to concentrate on all the evil in the world but when you see a surprise tear in a teen girl’s eye, looking at her baby for the first time because yes, it’s really in there, you see that miracles do happen. I am helpless in the bigger picture so I focus my efforts locally on the ones who can be saved.
