Trump is timing this retirement. For the Election I think. Lots of people will come out to vote Republican in Congress to make sure we get a Conservative. We are getting one anyway but waiting and acting like it is in danger is really important.

You really want to blow your mind watch Brainstorm. Everything in that movie is allegory. They show MKULTRA videos. And how hacking would take down the company. The company LAB is an allegory for Earth. The guards in the movie do odd things. Like root for Micheal the hero. Like not do anything to actually stop him until directly forced to. And by that time it is too late.
They Brainstormed this decades ago. Before the internet. But they obviously planned to use this tech back then. I think Kennedy showed them that they needed a way for everyone on Earth to speak to each other at the same time to make this work. To free us we needed to be able to communicate. The internet was designed to be almost impossible to take down. Theoretically for Nuke War. But really to stop the Cabal from taking US down when the time came.
