The sun doesn't do the same to the earth does it? We have "night". How would the sun illuminate the entire moon but not the earth?

Anon, I'm not trying to pull your leg here but when half of the spheres rotate into and out of the light, it logically means that the "other half" of the spheres are not illuminated. There has to a be a "dark side of the moon".
