Anon has pretty much ignored the Jan6 circus, like the rest of the Country, apparently, but just saw cnn and some other fake news sites running as their 4 main AM talking point that

"According to General Milley, it was Vice President Pence, and not President Trump, who contacted the Pentagon asking for help to defend the Capitol"

However, as I write this I'm seeing the misinformation/disinformation that I missed earlier. I believe that Milley testified that V.P. contacted the Pentagon WHILE HE WAS HUNKERED DOWN in the bowels of the Capitol on January 6.

CNN, et al, are deliberately conflating calls Pence may have placed to the Pentagon with the number of attempts which President Trump made to provide NG troops to the Capitol IN THE DAYS BEFORE January 6th. In doing so, Trump used the correct protocol by repeatedly contacting Pelosi (Schumer, Bowser?) asking her TO REQUEST NG TROOPS. In fact, Gorka is saying that any contact or order by Pence directly to the Pentagon (apparently, a stupid move to defend against the record of Trump being the proactive one) would have been an act of Treason without first contacting Trump who was the LAST person Pence wanted to talk to on Jan 6.

Has there been any published rebuttal to the CNN story on Milley's testimony?
