Given the sheer density of research performed on this remarkable spice, it is no wonder that a growing number of studies have concluded that it compares favorably to a variety of conventional medications, including:

Lipitor/Atorvastatin(cholesterol medication): A 2008 study published in the journal Drugs in R & D found that a standardized preparation of curcuminoids from Turmeric compared favorably to the drug atorvastatin (trade name Lipitor) on endothelial dysfunction, the underlying pathology of the blood vessels that drives atherosclerosis, in association with reductions in inflammation and oxidative stress in type 2 diabetic patients.[i] [For addition curcumin and ‘high cholesterol’ research – 8 abstracts]

Corticosteroids (steroid medications): A 1999 study published in the journal Phytotherapy Research found that the primary polyphenol in turmeric, the saffron colored pigment known as curcumin, compared favorably to steroids in the management of chronic anterior uveitis, an inflammatory eye disease.[ii] A 2008 study published in Critical Care Medicine found that curcumin compared favorably to the corticosteroid drug dexamethasone in the animal model as an alternative therapy for protecting lung transplantation-associated injury by down-regulating inflammatory genes.[iii] An earlier 2003 study published in Cancer Letters found the same drug also compared favorably to dexamethasone in a lung ischaemia-repurfusion injury model.[iv] [for additional curcumin and inflammation research – 52 abstracts]

Prozac/Fluoxetine & Imipramine (antidepressants): A 2011 study published in the journal Acta Poloniae Pharmaceutica found that curcumin compared favorably to both drugs in reducing depressive behavior in an animal model.[v] [for additional curcumin and depression research – 5 abstracts]

Aspirin (blood thinner): A 1986 in vitro and ex vivo study published in the journal Arzneimittelforschung found that curcumin has anti-platelet and prostacyclin modulating effects compared to aspirin, indicating it may have value in patients prone to vascular thrombosis and requiring anti-arthritis therapy.[vi] [for additional curcumin and anti-platelet research]

Anti-inflammatory Drugs: A 2004 study published in the journal Oncogene found that curcumin (as well as resveratrol) were effective alternatives to the drugs aspirin, ibuprofen, sulindac, phenylbutazone, naproxen, indomethacin, diclofenac, dexamethasone, celecoxib, and tamoxifen in exerting anti-inflammatory and anti-proliferative activity against tumor cells.[vii] [for additional curcumin and anti-proliferative research – 15 abstracts]

Oxaliplatin (chemotherapy drug): A 2007 study published in the International Journal of Cancer found that curcumin compares favorably with oxaliplatin as an antiproliferative agenet in colorectal cell lines.[viii] [for additional curcumin and colorectal cancer research – 52 abstracts]

Metformin (diabetes drug): A 2009 study published in the journal Biochemitry and Biophysical Research Community explored how curcumin might be valuable in treating diabetes, finding that it activates AMPK (which increases glucose uptake) and suppresses gluconeogenic gene expression (which suppresses glucose production in the liver) in hepatoma cells. Interestingly, they found curcumin to be 500 times to 100,000 times (in the form known as tetrahydrocurcuminoids(THC)) more potent than metformin in activating AMPK and its downstream target acetyl-CoA carboxylase (ACC).[ix]

Biden says oil firms make ‘more money than God’

While Biden blames corporate greed for high gas prices, Exxon says it’s doing its best to meet demand

US President Joe Biden took a swipe at oil giant Exxon on Friday, accusing the company of making “more money than God” while Americans suffer at the pumps. However, Exxon says it’s scaling up production, while conservatives blame the high gas prices on Biden’s own policies.

Speaking at the Port of Los Angeles, Biden found a number of scapegoats for America’s record high gas prices and 40-year high inflation rate, including the shipping industry and Russian President Vladimir Putin, while also blaming supply-chain backlogs.

Regarding gas prices, Biden singled out oil giant Exxon for engaging in stock buybacks rather than expanding its drilling activity.

“Exxon made more money than God this year,” he told reporters. “One thing I want to say about the oil companies…they’re not drilling, because they make more money not producing more oil.”

Fresh off of last week’s decision to implement a sweeping ban on handgun sales, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau doubled down and decried ‘American-style’ views on gun ownership while arguing that Canadians have no right whatsoever to use guns for self-defense.

In an appearance on ‘Pod Save the World’ this week, Trudeau claimed that guns should only ever be used for hunting or sport shooting, but never to protect oneself.

“There are debates, and we have a culture where the difference is. Guns can be used for hunting or for sport shooting in Canada – and there are lots of gun owners, and they’re mostly law-respecting and law-abiding – but you can’t use a gun for self-protection in Canada. That’s not a right that you have in the Constitution or anywhere else.

If you try and buy a gun and say it’s for self-protection – No, you don’t get that.“

Trudeau, a noted World Economic Forum graduate, has been on a crusade against Canadian gun ownership for several years now, and, unfortunately, he has been extremely effective. Two years ago, the Canadian Government banned all “military-style assault weapons,” and just last week Trudeau placed a complete freeze on all handgun sales, effectively outlawing pistols nationwide.

And they aren’t even close to done.

Trudeau continued, promising to outlaw handguns completely, once and for all:

“There’s this sense that Canada responded to the shooting in Texas by suddenly turning around and banning guns. Lovely if it were true, but we’ve been working on this for seven years… We’ve had a lot of setbacks, but since we got elected seven years ago, we’ve been steadily working on strengthening gun control.”

Biden Throws Zelensky Under The Bus: Ukraine Leader 'Brushed Off' Invasion Warnings

President Joe Biden on Friday told a donors conference in Los Angeles, California on the sidelines of the Summit of the Americas that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky brushed aside US warnings saying a Russian invasion of Ukraine was imminent. He described the situation ahead of the Feb.24 invasion and his communications with Zelensky, according to The Associated Press:

"Nothing like this has happened since World War II. I know a lot of people thought I was maybe exaggerating," Biden said, according to the outlet. He added the US had data that showed Russian President Vladimir Putin was going to invade.

"There was no doubt," Biden continued. "And Zelenskyy didn't want to hear it."

In his latest remarks, Biden admitted that the possibility of Putin launching a full-scale invasion may have seemed far-fetched at the time, acknowledging, "I understand why they didn’t want to hear it."

Top Ukrainian officials in the days and weeks prior to the invasion had pushed back against Washington, blaming the repeat warnings from US intelligence agencies for sowing "panic".

At that time, Zelensky had even personally told Biden to "calm down the messaging" on the invasion fears. Rarely does US intelligence take its classified assessments public in order to preemptively warn of action it predicts will occur. This highly unusual public stance also fueled widespread skepticism of the constant invasion warnings from the administration even among longtime Russia experts and observers. It has since been revealed in recent testimony by US Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines that Biden had taken the rare step of declassifying intelligence related to the prepared invasion in order to convince skeptical allies that it was likely going to happen.

Down to the last days before the invasion, there was hope among many Western officials of an "off ramp" that might quickly de-escalate the situation amid the Russian and Belarusian troop build-up along Ukraine's eastern and northern borders. Indeed this "off-ramp" might have come in the form of Ukraine and its backers pledging that the ex-Soviet state would never join NATO.

Many weeks after the invasion, Zelensky revealed in damning statements issued during an interview with CNN's Fareed Zakaria that all during the Russian troop build-up crisis, NATO leadership was pushing him to hold a firm public line that Ukraine is seeking NATO membership.

Ex-president handed jail time for ‘coup’

Jeanine Anez was found guilty of violating Bolivia’s constitution after Evo Morales fled the country

Former Bolivian President Jeanine Anez has been sentenced to 10 years in jail for assuming power in a “coup” against her left-wing predecessor, Evo Morales, in 2019.

The court in La Paz found Anez guilty of making “decisions contrary to the constitution” and of “dereliction of duty.”

Her defense team and supporters argued that the trial was politically motivated and that she had been denied her rights. Anez’s lawyer, Luis Guillen, promised to appeal the verdict and seek justice in “international organizations.”

Justice Minister Ivan Lima rejected the allegations of political prosecution. “We are a government that respects the rules of due process, and that extends democratic rule to all political actors,” he said in a comment to the New York Times.

As deputy speaker of the Senate, Anez was appointed interim president by parliament in November 2019 after Morales resigned and fled Bolivia amidst protests over alleged vote-rigging. Lawmakers from Morales’ Movement for Socialism (MAS) party boycotted the session.

Morales, who governed Bolivia for nearly 14 years, claimed there was a coup against his government.

MAS returned to power in October 2020, winning the general election. Bolivia’s current president, Luis Arce, is a MAS member.

Anez was arrested in March 2021. During the trial, she argued that she had “followed every step” of the constitution when assuming power in 2019. “I feel very proud and I would have done it again if I had the opportunity,” she said.

The politician went on a two-week hunger strike while in pre-trial detention and was briefly hospitalized several times due to health concerns. In February, she tried to take her own life due to “severe depression,” according to Anez’s daughter, Carolina Ribera.

On Friday, the court also sentenced former police general Yuri Calderon and former military chief Williams Kaliman Romero to 10 years in jail in connection to the 2019 events. They are both fugitives.

FBI Chief Comey Misled Congress’s 'Gang of 8' Over Russiagate, Lisa Page Memo Reveals

The FBI deceived the House, Senate and the Justice Department about the substance and strength of evidence undergirding its counterintelligence investigation of President Trump, according to a recently declassified document and other material.

A seven-page internal FBI memo dated March 8, 2017, shows that "talking points" prepared for then-FBI Director James Comey for his meeting the next day with the congressional leadership were riddled with half-truths, outright falsehoods, and critical omissions. Both the Senate and the House opened investigations and held hearings based in part on the misrepresentations made in those FBI briefings, one of which was held in the Senate that morning and the other in the House later that afternoon. RealClearInvestigations reached out to every member of the leadership, sometimes known as the "Gang of Eight." Some declined to comment, while others did not respond to queries.

The talking points were prepared by Lisa Page, a senior FBI lawyer who later resigned from the bureau amid accusations of anti-Trump bias, and were used by Comey in his meeting with Hill leaders. They described reports the FBI received in 2016 from "a former FBI CHS," or confidential human source, about former Trump campaign officials Paul Manafort and Carter Page (no relation to Lisa Page) allegedly conspiring with the Kremlin to hack the election.

Amazon's private messaging app is being flooded with images of child sex abuse

Wickr Me, an encrypted messaging app owned and operated by Amazon Web Services, is a popular digital gathering space for people seeking access to images of child pornography.

NBC News reported that court documents, online communities, law enforcement, and anti-exploitation activists sounded the alarms about the exploitative tendencies of some of Wickr Me’s userbase.

According to data gathered by the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), Wickr Me is far from the only digital service that is used to share exploitative images of children. However, according to subject matter experts and law enforcement officials, Amazon is doing comparatively little to proactively address the problem.

Amazon’s slow response to the problem reportedly attracts more people who want to participate in the platform’s growing child pornography marketplace. It is believed these people flock to Wickr Me because there is less risk of detection than in other corners of the internet.

There have been over 70 state and federal child sexual abuse or child pornography prosecutions where the defendant allegedly used Wickr Me from the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia. Nearly every one of these prosecutions has resulted in conviction, but there are some that are still being adjudicated.

Almost none of the criminal complaints in these cases note cooperation from Wickr Me at the time of filing unless the company was legally compelled to provide information through the use of a search warrant.

Over 25% of the more than 70 prosecutions stem from undercover operations conducted by law enforcement on Wickr Me and other tech platforms.

According to two law enforcement officials involved in investigating child exploitation cases and two others who have firsthand experience surveilling the tendencies of people who spend their time on the dark web, these court cases only represent a small percentage of the problem of child pornography online.

Posts that link Wickr Me and child sexual abuse material can be found across the internet. These posts were most commonly found on Reddit, Tumblr, and Twitter. There are reportedly dozens of forums, accounts and blogs where hundreds of posts have been made soliciting sexual acts from minors, discussing the exchange of child sexual abuse material, and discussing transactions for access to minors. Wickr Me screen names were commonly found alongside these posts.

Other apps, such as Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram which are all owned by Meta, use algorithmic detections methods to constantly scan unencrypted text and media to find signs of child sexual abuse imagery.

Virginia: GOP Governor Glenn Youngkin Hosts ‘Pride Month’ Reception at State Capitol

Pride month helps to "strengthen" the "spirit of Virginia," Youngkin's administration claims

GOP Governor Glenn Youngkin is facing criticism from both sides of the aisle over a “pride month” reception he hosted at the Virginia State Capitol. While the Youngkin Administration says that pride month helps to “strengthen” the “spirit of Virginia,” his move has been blasted by conservatives and leftists alike, with the LGBT lobby’s Equality Virginia group dubbing the event a “performative” measure.

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin’s embrace of pride month comes as corporate America, mainstream media, and the establishment of both political parties have moved, seemingly in unison, to deeply embed the LGBT lobby’s far-left agenda into the American psyche and culture. The White House, along with the governors of several states, have issued official proclamations marking June as “pride month,” though Youngkin has stopped short of taking such action.

This past Wednesday, Governor Glenn Youngkin hosted a reception in the rotunda of Virginia’s capitol building following a number of pro-LGBT events and demonstrations that took place throughout the capital city of Richmond and on the capitol grounds. While over 100 guests were reportedly invited to Youngkin’s pride month reception, the event was closed to the press.

Several invitees opted to boycott the reception, with the far-left LGBT group Equality Virginia blasting Governor Youngkin’s pride month reception as a “performative” event.

“Equality Virginia is disappointed in Gov. Youngkin’s performative attempt to celebrate Virginia’s diverse LGBTQ+ community by hosting a Pride event,” Narissa Rahaman, an executive director with Equality Virginia, said in a statement made explaining the group’s boycott. “His cherry-picking of invitees sends a message that he is unwilling to listen to the LGBTQ+ organizations and community members who have worked tirelessly for decades to make our commonwealth inclusive and welcoming for all.”

Rahaman and Equality Virginia went on to lament Governor Youngkin’s entire political platform, saying that he “spent months campaigning on a platform of homophobia and transphobia,” during his bid for Governor and claimed that his pro-family politics represent a direct attack on “trans kids.”

Youngkin drew national media attention during the 2021 campaign as he, and a wide-ranging coalition of parents out to protect their kids, publicly opposed the far-left, pro-trans policies being enforced on children in Virginia schools. In Loudoun County, those policies led to a “gender-fluid” male in a skirt being granted access to girls’ restrooms and proceeding to commit serial rape, which he was later convicted of in court. Upon taking office, Youngkin ordered an investigation into Loudoun County Public Schools, where the local school board has been accused of engaging in a documented cover-up of the rapes for political purposes, even arresting a victim’s father for demanding answers.

Amidst widespread criticism from the left and a baffled response from conservatives on social media, who accused him of engaging in a failed virtue signal, Governor Youngkin’s office defended his pride month reception in a statement made to The Washington Blade, “America’s LGBTQ news source,” telling the publication that events like the pride reception “help strengthen our communities and the spirit of Virginia.”

“The governor is committed to leading on behalf of all Virginians,” Youngkin press secretary Macaulay Porter reportedly told The Washington Blade. “We are one Virginia and events like this help strengthen our communities and the spirit of Virginia.”

Biden Admin Orders 500,000 More Monkeypox Vaccines

The Biden administration has ordered an additional 500,000 more doses of the Jynneos vaccine for monkeypox, marking a big step up in the government’s response amid rising cases in the United States and around the world.

Denmark-based biotech group Bavarian Nordic, the manufacturer of the vaccines, said that the U.S. Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) has placed the order, to be delivered later this year.

“With the previous order from BARDA for 1.4 million doses of liquid-frozen JYNNEOS, awarded in 2020, this order will bring the total U.S. inventory of the vaccine to nearly 2 million doses,” the company announced on Friday. Many of the 1.9 million doses are being held by the company until the U.S. government requests them.

The 500,000 vaccine doses will be manufactured using bulk materials that are owned by the United States under previous contracts with BARDA, and are currently stored with the company.

“The majority of this bulk, however, will be converted to approximately 13 million freeze-dried doses of JYNNEOS during 2023-2025,” Barvarian Nordic said.

Dawn O’Connell, Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, said on Friday that the U.S. government has a stockpile of 72,000 Jynneos doses, and will get 300,000 more doses from Bavarian Nordic over the next several weeks. She also confirmed that 500,000 more Jynneos doses from Bavarian Nordic will be delivered later this year.

“We have the vaccines and treatments we need to respond,” she said.

As of late Friday, the United States has identified 49 monkeypox cases in 16 states and the District of Columbia. More than 1,470 cases have been found in about 30 other countries outside of Africa, where the virus is endemic, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

I don’t know what they think they are going to use that gun for. Those who are hunters, I understand that they like to hunt. Those who like to fire guns on shooting ranges, it’s fun to hit the target, great go for it, but we need to do what other countries do, where you store the gun at the gun club, at the gun range. You don’t want a gun in the house. If you’re afraid of somebody breaking in, get a dog. You don’t need a gun. You have a greater chance of harming yourself or others in your family with that gun in the house.”

Cheney, Milley Say Trump Never Called Pentagon on January 6, Omit that He Approved National Guard in Advance

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley said during the January 6 Select Committee hearing on Thursday that then-President Donald Trump did not call the Pentagon to request National Guard troops to address the Capitol attack, but they did not mention Trump had already approved National Guard troops.

During their first hearing on Thursday, the committee aired footage from Milley testifying to the committee that Trump never called the Pentagon that day, although the then-Vice President called several times and gave “very explicit, very direct, unambiguous” orders to deploy the National Guard. The insinuation was that Trump condoned the violence at the Capitol.

Neither Cheney nor Milley ever mentioned that during a January 3, 2021, meeting at the White House, the president said to give D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser the National Guard support she needed, according to then-Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller’s testimony under oath to Congress on May 2021.

Miller also testified that on January 5, Trump called him and told him that 10,000 National Guard troops would be needed for the next day.

“I took his comment to mean that a large force would be required to maintain order the following day,” Miller said.

In addition, the president, through his defense secretary, had already given the Army secretary the authority he needed to deploy National Guard troops, according to a January 4, 2021, official memo.

The memo, signed by Miller and addressed to then-Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy, said, “You are authorized to approve the requested support.” The memo laid out some guidelines for that support.

It also made clear that the D.C. National Guard was under the command of the D.C. National Guard commanding general, who was to report to the defense secretary through the Army secretary.

In addition, on January 5, 2021, Bowser acknowledged in a tweet that the D.C. National Guard was supporting the Metropolitan Police Department and that the city was “not requesting other federal law enforcement personnel and discourages any additional deployment without immediate notification to, and consultation with, MPD if such plans are underway”:

European Parliament Condemns American Supreme Court over Abortion

The European Parliament passed a resolution condemning the United States Supreme Court over abortion after a leaked opinion suggested that Roe v Wade could be overturned at the federal level.

In a preemptive strike before the American Supreme Court has even had a chance to rule on the legal future of abortion, globalists in the European Union’s so-called parliament passed a measure on Thursday by a margin of 364 to 154 (37 abstentions) to “remind” the United States that it is “vital” to uphold Roe v Wade.

“MEPs [Members of the European Parliament] condemn the backsliding in women’s sexual and reproductive health and rights worldwide including in the U.S. and some EU countries, calling for safe access to abortion,” the lawmakers said.

Croatian socialist MEP Predrag Matić added: “The draft opinion of the Supreme Court of the United States is a shock and a nightmare.”

The resolution also targeted individual U.S. states for introducing limits on abortion access, such as Texas, which under its heartbeat bill has banned abortion after six weeks, when unborn babies begin to develop their own distinct heartbeat.

MEPs went on to malign the idea of individual U.S. states being allowed to determine their own abortion policies, which would be the case should the federal Roe diktat be removed, claiming that it would disproportionately impact women in poverty who may find it difficult to travel to another state to abort their baby.

Apparently not understanding how American republicanism operates as a governmental system, the EU parliament went on to call on President Joe Biden to “ensure access to safe and legal abortion,” despite the President having no legal authority to do so.

The globalist body also curiously claimed that Roe v Wade “protects the right to abortion in the U.S. Constitution,” even though there is no mention whatsoever of abortion in America’s founding documents.

Noting the apparent ignorance of the EU lawmakers, German right-wing MEP Christine Anderson, who opposed the measure, commented: “The USA is no longer a colony ruled from Europe. Didn’t you know that?”

The unprecedented leak of the draft opinion on Roe in May has led to widespread threats of violence and extremism from the left in the United States, with a California man being arrested with a weapon outside of the home of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, where activists have appeared in an apparent attempt to influence the potential ruling.

While protesting outside of justices’ homes is illegal in the United States, the Biden administration has so far failed to condemn these acts of leftist extremism, with former press secretary Jenn Psaki even seemingly encouraging abortion activists to protest outside the homes of judges.

Though the vast majority of European Union member-states have legalised abortion, there are some outliers, including Malta — home to the pro-life President of the EU Parliament. Roberta Metsola — and Poland, which has severely limited the ability to abort babies.

The resolution passed by the EU Parliament on Thursday also demanded that such states conform to the whims of the Brussels establishment and rescind their abortion laws.

Some have demanded that the Union go even further, such as French president Emmanuel Macron, who has called for the bloc to add a right to abortion to the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights.

UK Lawmakers Demand Universities Disclose China Ties, Ban Confucius Institutes

British universities should be forced to disclose their financial dealings with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and shut down the controversial Confucius Institutes, a bi-partisan group of MPs have demanded.

The United Kingdom needs to crack down on the influence that communist cash has on its university system, including funding from the controversial Confucius Institute, which reports directly to the Propaganda Department of Beijing, British parliamentarians led by former Tory leader Sir Iain Duncan Smith said.

The cross-party group of 20 MPs, aligned under the China Research Group (CRG), have argued that the government’s campus free speech legislation should be amended to include a requirement that universities disclose the funding they received from the institutes, as well as the activities of the communist organisations.

According to the MPs, vice-chancellors at 17 universities in Britain have accepted £28 million in funding from Confucius Institutes over the past decade.

The centres have been stifling speech surrounding “sensitive” topics for Beijing (Peking) on campus, including the so-called “three t’s” of Taiwan, Tibet, and the Tiananmen Square Massacre — and, more recently, Hong Kong and Xinjiang.

Tory MP and CRG co-chairman Alicia Kearns told The Times: “Complacency has seen the UK become host to the most Confucius Institutes of any country in the world.

“The Chinese Communist Party strangles freedom of speech at home, yet uses British universities to rewrite the realities of its historic and contemporary actions.”

There are also growing concerns of Chinese espionage on British campuses, with the MI6 foreign intelligence service — roughly equivalent to America’s CIA — reportedly launching investigations into “some of the most prestigious universities in the country” for potentially violating national security laws by working with Chinese weapons makers.

Some 200 British academics have been identified as allegedly helping Beijing develop weapons of “mass destruction”.

Some 33 universities, including prestigious Cambridge, have also been accused of working in tandem with the Chinese Academy of Engineering Physics (CAEP), the chief nuclear weapons developer for the Chinese government.

At the same time as many academics have been leading the charge for woke causes in Britain, their pay cheques have been heavily dependent on tuition — often subsidised by CCP scholarships — of Chinese students.

In May of last year, a government investigation “established a correlation” between the reliance on tuition from Chinese students and technology transfers to the CCP from universities in Britain.

On top of the 30 Confucius Institutes in Britain, there are also nearly 150 “Confucius Classrooms” which operate around the country. Though they officially claim to merely promote Chinese language and culture, former Chinese leader Hu Jintao admitted that the ultimate goal of the project is “to cultivate and prepare a group (or army) of people to make sure the CCP will be in power in the future… and increase our CCP influence around the world.”

Another co-chairman of the China Research Group, Tory MP Tom Tugendhat, told The Telegraph: “We should not be reliant on an authoritarian state to teach its language in Britain.”

Professor Andreas Fulda University of Nottingham, who focuses on Chinese issues, went further, declaring: “Chinese propaganda has no place on campus. If Confucius Institutes want to continue to operate in the UK they should rent their own office space downtown. This will require universities to either terminate, or choose not to renew, their existing co-operation agreements.”

Vladimir Taranenko claimed the office had medical records for over 1,000 children, but they marked their “healthy organs” instead of any medical conditions or procedures.

Taranenko is the head of the Donetsk-based civic organisation ‘Peoples Retinue,’ a volunteer movement that states one of its goals assisting is law enforcement in the Donetsk People’s Republic (“DPR”).

He also claimed that some of the reading materials discovered at the office were instructions on “how to use weapons, including in a format intended for children.”

3 US Companies That Allegedly Sent Defense Blueprints To China Receive Export Denial Order

The Commerce of Business has issued a temporary denial order (TDO) for 180 days to three U.S. companies for the illegal export of data relating to satellite, rocket, and defense technology to China.

On June 7, the Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) accused three U.S.-based companies of unauthorized export of technical drawings and blueprints used to 3-D print satellite, rocket, and defense-related prototypes to China.

The three entities are Quicksilver Manufacturing Inc., Rapid Cut LLC, and U.S. Prototype Inc., all located in Wilmington, North Carolina.

“Outsourcing 3-D printing of space and defense prototypes to China harms U.S. national security,” said Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Export Enforcement Matthew Axelrod in a statement on June 8.

“By sending their customers’ technical drawings and blueprints to China, these companies may have saved a few bucks—but they did so at the collective expense of protecting U.S. military technology.”

According to the statement, TDOs are some of the most significant civil sanctions the BIS can issue.

The statement indicated, “Without their customers’ advance consent or knowledge, these drawings were provided to manufacturers in China to 3-D-print the items without the required U.S. Government authorizations.”

As stated in the TDO, these three entities use “the same rental mailbox.”

“The information illegally sent to China included sensitive prototype space and defense technologies,” said the BIS.

Taxpayers To Foot Bill for Terrorist’s Sex Change

Career criminal Cristina Iglesias mailed fake anthrax to British Commonwealth and Foreign Office in 2002

A transgender inmate who goes by the name Cristina Iglesias has not spent a day outside of federal prison as an adult. Iglesias was locked up in 1994 for sending death threats to federal judges and then pleaded guilty in 2005 to mailing fake anthrax to U.S. allies in the earliest days of the War on Terror. Now, thanks to a judge's ruling, Iglesias is set to become the first transgender inmate to undergo sex-reassignment surgery—on the taxpayer dime.

Iglesias in 2020 became the poster child of the American Civil Liberties Union‘s quest to ensure even the most hardened criminals enjoy transgender rights, and the civil rights group that once focused its energies on free speech sued the government, arguing that denying the costly surgery is a violation of Iglesias's constitutional rights. U.S. District Judge Nancy J. Rosenstengel agreed, writing in an opinion issued last month that "Iglesias suffers daily and is at risk of self-mutilation and suicide."

Iglesias, 47, is set for release on Christmas Day, but wants the surgery before that time—and Rosentengel is ordering the Bureau of Prisons to find a surgeon to carry out the sex change. Cost estimates for the surgery itself vary widely. Some hospital estimates reach six figures, while the Philadelphia Center for Transgender Surgery pegs the figure at about $25,000. Pricey quality-of-life care is required for years after the surgery, running about $40,000 annually in the first five years, according to a 2015 study from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. The cost falls to $10,000 per year after a decade. The Bureau of Prisons declined to say whether taxpayers will provide that support.

New Biden administration policy requires prison officials to use a transgender inmate's preferred name and pronouns and consider housing transgender inmates in prisons matching their "lived gender." Federal policy doesn't require surgery in every case, but left-wing groups like the ACLU are now using cases like Iglesias's to make sure it is widely available for inmates. There are about 1,300 transgender inmates in federal jails, according to a Bureau of Prison spokeswoman.

Iglesias, who according to prison records is white but has used Hispanic names since 2004, is nearing the end of a 20-year bid for mailing white powder—from prison—to the British Commonwealth and Foreign Office in 2002, which prompted evacuations and street closures around London.

"I hope to see to it you people die a slow and painful death!!!" Iglesias wrote in a letter containing faux-anthrax. "This anthrax is very lethal and deadly!!!!"

Iglesias's defense lawyers attributed those crimes to a long and clinically documented history of mental illness, which includes a pattern of compulsive and self-destructive behavior that is difficult to control.

"The subject's history and the results of this evaluation suggest that his behavior is influenced by the existence of severe psychological deficits that are of long-standing duration," Dr. Jethro Toomer wrote in the 2005 assessment. Defense filings from that case indicate Iglesias has from a young age been diagnosed or treated for bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, and alcohol addiction.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons in 2015 allowed Iglesias to begin hormone therapy. Iglesias went on to request facial laser hair removal, a transfer to a female facility, and "gender confirmation surgery."

Israel, Turkey Continue To Escalate Operations In Syria

Israel and Turkey escalated their military operations in Syria recently, in what appears to be an attempt to further their interests and expand their influence in the war-torn country while Russia is thought to be busy with its military operation in Ukraine.

Israeli attacks on Syria are becoming more frequent. Late on June 6, warplanes of the Israeli Air Force launched several guided missiles from the direction of the occupied Golan Heights at the southern outskirts of the Syrian capital, Damascus.

A source in the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) said that many of the missiles were intercepted. However, some damage was reported near the town of the town of al-Kiswah, where several bases and research facilities of the SAA are located.

Early on June 8, the Israeli Defence Forces attacked again. Several Israeli battle tanks advanced in the UN-monitored buffer zone in the southern governorate of al-Quneitra and targeted an observation post of the SAA near the town of al-Malgah. The attack was a blatant violation of the 1974 separation of forces agreement.

Following the attack, the Israeli military dropped leaflets over al-Qunitra warning the officers and soldiers of the SAA against operating within the buffer zone.

Israel’s recent attacks were likely meant to further pressure Damascus over its alliance with Iran and Lebanon’s Hezbollah as well as to weaken its authority over the al-Quneitra buffer zone.

Meanwhile, Turkey continues to prepare to launch a new military operation against the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in northern and northeastern Syria.

As of June 8, the Turkish military and its proxies continue to shell SDF-held areas in the northern and northeastern Aleppo countryside, the northern Raqqa countryside and the northern countryside of al-Hasakah. The presence of Russian forces and SAA units in these areas didn’t deter Ankara.

The Turkish military and its proxies also continue to amass their forces near the SDF-held towns of Tell Rifaat and Manbij in the northern Aleppo countryside. The two towns are expected to be the main targets of Turkey’s upcoming operation.

Russia has been working to restrain the actions of both Israel and Turkey in Syria by developing its cooperation with the SAA and expanding its military presence in hot regions.

Whittington's mother Hillary said she suspected her daughter was trans before she could even speak.

In order to appeal to their conservative audience, Fox News hyped the family's alleged "conservative faith" and played clips of the mother claiming they were enacting God's will by "transitioning" their daughter.

Pa. Democrat Congresswoman Goes Full Nazi, Says GOP Must Be ‘Cleansed’

Despite being an advocate of “civility,” “decency,” and “unity” in the past, Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (D-Pa.) has apparently been so radicalized by her caucus that she now says the Republican Party is “diseased” and must be “cleansed.”

Solid Evidence Emerges That Plot To Assassinate Justice Kavanaugh Was Orchestrated By Democrat Party

Evidence has emerged that the plot to assassinate Justice Brett Kavanaugh is being orchestrated by Democratic Party operatives.

After police arrested a California Democrat on a mission to assassinate Justice Kavanaugh, the Biden administration reluctantly condemned the campaign to intimidate the Supreme Court.

“As the president has consistently made clear, public officials, including judges, must be able to do their jobs without concern for their personal safety or that of their families,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre declared.

Frontpagemag.com reports: After leftist activists had posted a map of the homes of Supreme Court justices to harass them, Jen Psaki had retorted. “I don’t have an official U.S. government position on where people protest.”

There is in fact such a position and it’s illegal under 18 U.S.C. § 1507 which states that anyone with “the intent of interfering with, obstructing, or impeding the administration of justice, or with the intent of influencing any judge, juror, witness” “pickets or parades in or near a building…. or residence, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.”

Biden just decided not to enforce these laws in order to allow his leftist allies to intimidate the justices.

Not one of the leftists who have spent years harassing Supreme Court justices with protests outside the court and even their homes has been sent off to prison. Nor will they. Pounding on the doors of the Supreme Court, marching around the homes of justices, and trying to prevent them from coming to court have become basic parts of the activist playbook.

Even after the Kavanaugh assassination plot, leftists are continuing to protest outside his home.

The arrest of Nicholas Roske, armed with a Glock 17, and carrying burglar tools, pepper spray, and zip ties, is just the latest in a wave of leftist violence touched off by the hate campaign against Justice Kavanaugh and other conservative justices. Roske was angry about the Roe v. Wade leaked draft and said that he planned to break into Kavanaugh’s house and kill him.

Roske found Kavanaugh’s address on the internet after leftist activist groups doxxed him and other justices while encouraging protesters to intimidate them and their families in their homes.
