VIDEO: Police press conference in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, about arrests of 'Patriot Front' members
Coeur d'Alene Police: We received a telephone call from a concerned citizen that reported that approximately twenty people jumped into a U-Haul, wearing masks, they had shields, and "looked like a little army." Thirty-one people were detained…they had shields, shin guards, and other riot gear with them, including at least one smoke grenade. Those thirty-one individuals have been arrested for 'Conspiracy To Riot' [misdemeanor]. At this point they appear to be affiliated with the group, 'Patriot Front'. At this point, we have individuals from Texas, Utah, Idaho, Colorado, South Dakota, Illinois, Arkansas, Wyoming, Washington, Oregon, and Virginia.
Coeur d'Alene Police: They were also wearing khaki pants, and everyone was dressed exactly the same…if you go online and look up 'Patriot Front', that's exactly how these individuals were dressed.
Reporter: You mentioned federal partners…does that mean FBI, DOJ, or any specific agency?
Coeur d'Alene Police: We were in contact with the FBI.
