I think the Justice Department is really what's on trial right now, because the Justice Department has got to take action. You cannot allow this kind of behavior to exist

Not a Cop, but know enough to know that at least one would've been pepper sprayed into compliance.
These guys just all, at once, ceased all actions when the cops got there, surrendered peacefully and follwoed all orders when the cops arrested them

In Jan. 6 cases, 1 judge stands out as the toughest punisher
An Ohio couple climbed through a broken window of the U.S. Capitol and livestreamed a video of themselves inside. A Texas mortgage broker posed for a selfie in front of rioters breaching the building. An Indiana hair salon owner celebrated on Facebook a day after she joined the pro-Donald Trump mob.
Federal prosecutors did not seek prison time for any of them after they pleaded guilty to petty offenses for their actions on Jan. 6, 2021.
The judge had other ideas.
U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan put them all behind bars, describing it as the appropriate punishment for their participation.
Chutkan, a former assistant public defender who was nominated to the bench by President Barack Obama, has consistently taken the hardest line against Jan. 6 defendants of any judge serving on Washington’s federal trial court.

No, you’re not imagining it — package sizes are shrinking
June 8, 2022
It’s dubbed “shrinkflation,” and it’s accelerating worldwide.
In the U.S., a small box of Kleenex now has 60 tissues; a few months ago, it had 65. Chobani Flips yogurts have shrunk from 5.3 ounces to 4.5 ounces. In the U.K., Nestle slimmed down its Nescafe Azera Americano coffee tins from 100 grams to 90 grams. In India, a bar of Vim dish soap has shrunk from 155 grams to 135 grams.
Shrinkflation isn’t new. But it proliferates in times of high inflation as companies grapple with rising costs for ingredients, packaging, labor and transportation. Global consumer price inflation was up an estimated 7% in May, a pace that will likely continue through September, according to S&P Global.

In addition to pandemic-induced frustration, pandemic-induced isolation could also play a role.

Does the Justice Department want to charge Trump? Here's what could happen.
A person familiar with the matter told NBC News there have been conversations inside the Justice Department about the far-reaching implications of pursuing a case against Trump, should it come to that. So far, no public evidence has surfaced that the former president has become a criminal target.
“I think not charging is even worse, because not charging means you failed to hold someone criminally accountable who tried to subvert our democracy.”
