POTUS is promoting 5G among all wireless providers so that across the board, it will be 100% the same "standard" from west coast to east coast. This way there are no unique "versions" of it.
5G health issues aside, I am hoping that the standard comes with heavy consumer protections included that all wireless carriers must comply with, otherwise I imagine bee's and birds will drop like flies.
Many billionaires (Bill Gates, Mark Z., Elon Musk) are investing in sky/network satellite technology that might replace 5G altogether, but it's not clear which of those Skynets (if any) are honest choices for us consumers to use.
This could be a good thing: POTUS might call BS on that and use his PEN.
