Then look at McCabe's belief Potus is responsible for his firing. So why exactly does Grassley want to investigate the circumstances surrounding his firing?

After reading this letter, I feel there is a lot we don't know about. The FBI won't allow McCabe to hand over documents to Congress. Why? What are they hiding?

Also, highlighted is proof he is seeking total immunity from everything he says.

That talks about States use of immunity. Congress has much different powers. Read the letter and the case law sited. Anything McCabe says in the hearing can not be used against him since he has a criminal referral already against him.

Grassley wants McCabe to testify in front of the cmte about the irregularities of his firing under the pretext of talking about the OIG report, of which McCabe had very little dealings with. The charges appear to be Horowitz acted improperly. The 2 emails between Comey and McCabe most in question, the FBI will not allow McCabe to share with the cmte.
