Jean-Pierre: We agree all Americans should watch and remember the horrors of one of the darkest days in our history, but this is up to the Department of Justice…we leave it up to the Department of Justice.
Jean-Pierre: Gas prices are up nearly two dollars and that has been the case since Putin started to threaten the borders of Ukraine with troop enforcement at the border.
Jean-Pierre: Russia has been repeatedly damaging grain storage facilities in Ukraine, stealing Ukrainian grain, and actively blocking the export of food from Ukrainian ports, increasing world hunger.
Reporter: Does [Biden] feel any concern that his approval rating is really pretty amazingly low, consistently low, I believe today when under 40% for the first time?
Jean-Pierre: The president is focused on delivering for the American people. That's his focus right now.
Jean-Pierre: We see the economy in a stronger place than it's been in historic..a place that it's been in decades.
Reporter: Does [Biden] believe there should be any type of protesters picketing outside judge's homes when there is a case pending before them,?
Jean-Pierre: We have not weighed in on where people should or should not protest. We have said that all Americans have the right to peacefully protest, whatever their point of view.

I don't believe there is any specific recourse described in either the Constitution or legal precedent for if all branches fail. The current situation would probably be considered to be a collapse of the republic into a dictatorship.
