In 1984 I got a D- minus on a book report I did on the C_A sourced from 3 books and a shit ton of Soldier of Fortune magazines. I was fucking proud of what I had done. Worked my ass off making sure everything was spelt right and sentence structure all good, all that shit. Scrawled across the last page was "everything you reported on if false". I actually got in trouble for doing a report on "fiction" "you can't use soldier of fortune as a source". I still have those books and magazines and there is not one word in there not proven true over the years.
Found the teachers name in the roster of OSS officers during WW2. He died a "celebrated war veteran" soon after. I flunked 8th grade.
