I believe they were given a choice early on. Some of them made a dead, and some of them didn't. The window closed on any deals after a certain point, probably before Q said NO DEALS.
I think, as another anon stated earlier, if we see deals now, it's probably only a reduction in their punishment. They will still face justice.
