Shortly after the Tater was (s)elected I saw and heard that he would eventually shut down

the entire economy. This would cause everyone to lose their jobs as part of the effort.

Higher fuel prices, inflation etc go a long way in this regard but it's much simpler than that.

I couldn't figure out how the hell that could ever happen but now I think I know.

Where I work there are several "key" items we absolutely need/must have to remain in business.

In digging around the net and watching shortage reports on youtube it seems that thousands of businesses nationwide are experiencing exactly that. Computer chips for vehicles, various car parts, construction materials, chemicals are far more are causing businesses everywhere to slow down, lay off workers or just close. Farms will close down next year for lack of fertiliser.

That will shut down even more food production jobs. Scarcity will force everyone except govt.

workers to lose their jobs.

The devastation is going to be unreal. Banks foreclosing on homes, cars and everything purchased on credit. Hell, I'll bet we see banks cancelling people's credit cards en masse 'for their own good' of course
