When Kiev’s guilt in attacks on a maternity hospital cannot be denied, it’s simply brushed under the carpet

Following intense Ukrainian shelling of Donetsk on June 13, some Western media sources, in tandem with outlets in Kiev, unsurprisingly claimed that the attack – which killed at least five civilians and struck a busy maternity hospital – was perpetrated by Russian forces.

Why Moscow would launch rockets at its own allies wasn't explained, nor would it make much sense.

The Donetsk People’s Republic's foreign ministry reported: “Such an unprecedented. in terms of power, density and duration of fire, raid on the DPR capital was not recorded during the entire period of the armed conflict [since 2014]. In two hours, almost 300 MLRS rockets and artillery shells were fired.”

The Ukrainian shelling began late morning, resumed in the afternoon, and continued for another two hours in the evening, a deafening series of blasts throughout the city, terrorizing residents and targeting apartment buildings, civilian infrastructure, the aforementioned hospital, and industrial buildings.

Locals say this was some of the heaviest bombing of Donetsk since 2014, when the region declared its independence from post-Maidan Kiev.

In the Budyonnovsky district in the south of the city, Ukrainian shelling of a market killed five civilians including one child. Just two months ago, Kiev's forces hit another Donetsk market, leaving four civilians dead.

In the hard-hit Kievskiy district, to the north, the shelling caused fires at a water bottling plant and a warehouse for stationery, destroying it. The building was still in flames when journalist Roman Kosarev and I arrived about an hour after the attack. Apartment buildings in the area also came under fire, leaving doors and windows blown out and cars destroyed.

The destroyed gas station was on a street where I stayed in April, which is completely residential.

DPR head Denis Pushilin said, “The enemy literally crossed all the lines. Prohibited methods of warfare are being used, residential and central districts of Donetsk are being shelled, other cities and settlements of the DPR are also under fire now.” Continue…

Feds refusing to compensate lost salaries of unvaccinated federal workers

The Trudeau government is refusing to repay the lost salaries of civil servants who were suspended for declining to get the Covid-19 vaccine now that the federal mandate has been lifted.

Without hesitation, Intergovernmental Affairs Minister Dominic LeBlanc immediately shut down reporters who asked whether unvaccinated workers would be compensated.

“Absolutely not,” said LeBlanc before leaving the press conference.

The announcement came just as the Liberal government announced a change to its pandemic protocol.

As of June 20, unvaccinated Canadians will be able to board a train or a plane to travel domestically and internationally.

Additionally, unvaccinated federal workers will be able to return to their jobs. The move came after mounting pressure from the public and industry groups surrounding airport delays and cancellations.

Nearly 2,000 federal employees were suspended from their job without leave for not being fully vaccinated, according to the Treasury Board of Canada.

Several major unions including the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC), the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada (PIPSC) and the Canadian Association of Professional Employees (CAPE) have launched grievance actions on behalf of the impacted employees. Continue…

The group Fairness Alberta is launching a campaign promoting Canada as the answer to global energy security especially in the wake of the war in Ukraine.

The social media campaign targeting Ontario and British Columbia in particular is called Unjust Transition. Although the group is officially non-partisan politically it’s clearly a none-too-subtle jab at Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s hell-bent desire to go green at all costs and to stifle and kill Canada’s oil and gas industry. Trudeau’s government, with full backing of the NDP, is heavily pushing something it calls a Just Transition — a rapid reduction in developing and using oil and gas in Canada.

Fairness Alberta executive director Bill Bewick (@B_BewickPhD) said the timing is perfect to stand up for Canada’s ethical oil and gas industry. Albertans understand this, he said. But there’s still work needed to convince people in the populous provinces of B.C. and Ontario.

“We’re trying to get them to realize that with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the crazy prices escalating on energy right now… the world needs this energy and if Canada’s not producing it, there’s no such thing as a just transition if it mean Russia’s producing oil, not us,” Bewick told Rebel News at a gathering of his group.

‘You are disrespectful,’ was the last answer from Heritage Minister Pablo Rodriguez to Rebel News reporter William Diaz-Berthiaume after he asked how Bill C-11 promotes freedom of speech.

On the morning of June 15, 2022, Candice Bergen was set to address the Conservative Caucus, at the same time as Jagmeet Singh talked with the National NDP Caucus.

Therefore, I decided to head down to Parliament Hill in order to meet and talk with some Conservative and NDP members of Parliament. Upon arrival, I had the chance to talk to Conservative MPs Michael Barrett and Jamie Schmale; they were the only two legislators gracious enough to answer my questions.

Near the House of Commons, the Liberals were holding a meeting at the same time as the Conservatives and NDP.

Therefore, since my questions were mainly about Bill C-11, who better to ask than the biggest supporters of the bill?

After waiting 10 minutes in front of the building, Pablo Rodriguez, the minister of Canadian Heritage, came out. I asked him about the issue.

Instead of answering my questions, however, Rodriguez ended up calling me “disrespectful.”

The situation was similar with almost every other Liberal MP that I encountered.

I also had the chance of questioning David Lametti, the minister of justice, who simply ignored me, looked forward and continued walking without addressing the relevant questions.

The Liberal MPs I attempted to interview included the following names: Pablo Rodriguez, Sean Fraser, Greg Fergus, and Sameer Zuberi.

Drag Storytime at the Toronto Zoo

What happened to letting kids be kids?

On Saturday June 11, the Toronto Zoo held an event called ‘Drag Queen Storytime’ and it was hosted by two drag queens, Tiffany Boxx and Erin Brockobić.

The event was an hour long, where Tiffany and Erin each read animal themed children’s stories with the goal of teaching 'inclusion, diversity, self-love and respect for others.'

Roughly 75-100 people that attended, all showing support for Pride season by wearing rainbow clothing and accessories. The two drag performers were wearing tight clothing, lots of makeup, and high heels.

It is interesting that this story-time was hosted outdoors on loudspeakers at the Toronto Zoo - a place where hundreds of children would be exposed to hearing these messages, whether they chose to attend the event or not.

Tiffany and Erin both actively engaged with the audience; interacting with children by asking questions and getting them to agree with statements such as, “we support our friends with different gender expressions, right?”

What’s disturbing is how this story-time is being treated like it’s an event with innocent performers, much like how a princess or a magician would be hired for a children’s birthday party. Except, drag queens are not appropriate for children.

What happened to letting kids be kids? What happened to teaching them real life lessons and traditional values that will help them excel in the future, instead of planting ideas that will damage them psychologically in the long run?

Teaching children at a young age that they are possibly born in the wrong body and that their gender is something that should be questioned, only leads to confusion. There is a strong push to normalize the abnormal, and that’s what we see more of today in the mainstream media.

An article from the CBC defended Drag Story-time that was recently held in San Francisco:

“Police say they are investigating a possible hate crime after at least five men entered the San Lorenzo Library in California's San Francisco Bay Area, disrupting Drag Queen Story Hour by yelling homophobic and transphobic slurs. Nobody was harmed, and nobody has been arrested.”

"Who brought the pedophile?” asked one guy in the video.

CBC appears to take the side of drag queen, Panda Dulce, who explicitly lip syncs in this video, defending herself against the comments made with the statement.

“I think when the right says they want to protect children, what they forget conveniently is that there are queer children. There are trans children. There are children who have seen violence and do not wish to inflict violence on others just because they're different, " said Panda Dulca to CBC.

While the Trudeau Liberals would likely prefer Canadians live off of a diet of crickets and soy, ground beef remains the most affordable and most commonly consumed cut of beef in Canada.

Labelling a cut of meat that 85 per cent of Canadians still eat every single month not only normalizes an attack on nutrition, but Western farmers too.

Feds pay contractors $39 million to block access to info

One private contractor hired by the feds was paid nearly $200,000 to process about 97,000 pages of Department of Justice documents — about $2 per page.

A small cluster of companies were given lucrative contracts to censor Canadians' access to government records and emails, documents obtained by Conservative MP Kelly McCauley through an inquiry of ministry show.

According to Blacklock's Reporter, which broke the news Friday morning:

One private censor was paid $15,961 for ten weeks’ work. Another was paid $72,844 for four months’ work. A third contractor was paid $199,078 to process Department of Justice files totaling 96,971 pages, the equivalent of $2 a page.

Contracts signed with individual firms included $15.8 million with Altis Human Resources Inc., $3 million with Maxsys Staffing & Consulting, $2.3 million to FCM Professionals Inc., $2.2 million to Excel Human Resources and $1 million to Michael Wager Consulting Inc.

According to the federal government, part of the backlog is related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the contractors were hired to reduce a growing glut of access requests which remain outstanding.

The Treasury Board has acknowledged the backlog, noting that, though requests for documents have fallen, the production of documents by federal agencies within the statutory timeframe has stalled:

The number of ATI requests received during the 2020 to 2021 fiscal year decreased 6.6 percent from the 2019 to 2020 fiscal year. However, in the 2020 to 2021 fiscal year, the number of ATI requests that were outstanding from the previous fiscal year increased by 28.5 percent.

Videos are emerging of brutal lineups forming at Service Canada offices across the country as Canadians wait to renew their passports following the suspension of the unvaccinated travel ban.

Videos show that waiting lines are so bad that people are bringing lawn chairs — and often giving up before reaching the door.

“Imagine having a passport office with 16 wickets, and literally four are open. Four. People are waiting for hours and hours, ongoing for months, but Service Canada apparently hasn’t hired contract staff to help clear the backlog,” a frustrated Canadian tweeted.

As Senator Leo Housakos notes, “This is the lineup for passports at my local Service Canada in Montreal. It’s not isolated — it’s a daily occurrence being repeated all across the country. [Do] you think this is acceptable, MP Sean Fraser, MP Karina Gould? We’re a G7 country, act like it. Canada deserves better.”

A video posted by Senator Housakos shows hundreds of people wrapped around the plaza — across grocery stores, Dollarama, and a movie theatre. People can be seen sitting with their heads buried in their hands or lost in their phones as if they haven’t moved in hours.

In fact, some folks are waking up in the middle of the night to try and get a good spot in the line. It resembles a scene outside a video game store at 3 am, wherein gamers camp out, so they don’t miss out – except in this game, winners get to leave Canada.

Granted, this problem has been growing for months. However, it appears that the wait for passports has reached a tipping point now that Canada’s supreme leader has suspended his vindictive and unconstitutional travel ban on unvaccinated Canadians.

As previously reported by The Counter Signal, on June 14, the Trudeau government announced they would suspend the travel ban on the over 5.7 million unvaccinated Canadians temporarily after more than half a year of rampant discrimination.

With that said, those who aren’t fully vaccinated — which will soon include those with two shots or less — might still be out of luck no matter how early they line up. After all, the Trudeau government’s use of the word “suspension” when referring to the travel ban indicates it could be re-instated anytime.

Freedom Convoy organizer Tamara Lich just received the 2022 George Jonas Freedom Award at a sold-out gala hosted by the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms.

“The Board of Directors of the Justice Centre considered many worthy candidates for the 2022 Award and ultimately selected Tamara Lich, the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms writes on their website.

“Ms. Lich inspired Canadians to exercise their Charter rights and freedoms by participating actively in the democratic process, and took the initiative to help organize a peaceful protest and serve as one of its leaders,” JCCF continues.

“The resulting peaceful protest in Ottawa awakened many Canadians to the injustice of Charter-violating lockdowns and mandatory vaccination policies. Ms. Lich has suffered for the cause of freedom by spending 18 days unjustly jailed, and exemplifies courage, determination and perseverance.”

Before receiving the award, Crown prosecutors attempted to block Lich’s attendance at the gala, arguing that she should be re-jailed, as merely indicating that she would accept such an award supposedly violated her bail conditions.

According to the Crown’s application, “Tamara Lich has continued her support of the Convoy cause with the assistance of Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms.”

The Crown also argued that the judge who freed Lich made errors of law. The Crown, thus, asked that his decision be overturned and Lich be sent back to jail.

Ultimately, an Ontario judge ruled against the Crown, saying Lich has already had a “taste of jail” and is unlikely to re-offend.

Lich is still appealing her bail conditions, arguing they violate her Charter freedoms.

As per the bail conditions, “You are not to log on to social media or post any messages on social media. … You are not to allow anyone else to post messages on Social Media on your behalf or indicate your approval for any future protests so long as this release order is in place… You are not to engage in organization or promotion of anti-COVID 19 mandate activities and Freedom Convoy activities … You are not to verbally, or in writing, financially, or by any other means, support anything related to the Freedom Convoy. …”

“The violation of a bail condition can result in a fine, imprisonment, or both.”

Again, all of this is for mischief charges incurred while fighting for Canadians’ rights and freedoms.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) vaccine advisory panel today unanimously voted 21-0 to recommend Pfizer and Moderna's COVID-19 vaccines for infants and young children, stating the totality of the evidence available shows the benefits of the vaccines outweigh the risks of use.

Pfizer's three-dose vaccine would cover children 6 months to 5 years old, while Moderna's two-dose vaccine covers children 6 months to 6 years old. Six European countries suspended the Moderna vaccine.

States have already ordered millions of doses made available prior to FDA authorization by the Biden administration.

Depending on whether the FDA and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) accept the recommendations of their advisory panels, White House officials have said the administration of vaccines for these age groups could start as early as June 21.

The Liberals blocked a motion calling on Ottawa to provide all documents used to justify restricting travel for Canadians during the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to Blacklock’s Reporter, during Thursday’s House of Commons transport committee, NDP MP Taylor Bachrach sponsored a motion requesting “a copy of all relevant documents containing public health advice and scientific modeling received by the Minister of Transport” used to justify quarantines, masking, mandatory vaccination and other measures.

“All of a sudden there was a decision to suspend the mandates without really an explanation of what changed,” Bachrach explained.

“The way it’s supposed to work is the public health officials provide the advice to the government and then the government takes action. What we’re interested in is when did the public health officials first start advising the government these specific measures were no longer effective and could safely be suspended?”

Liberal MP Churence Rogers cited cabinet confidentiality before shutting down the motion.

According to Rogers, the government has a right to protect information “that could cause harm” if the public became aware of it.

“Every government regardless of political stripe needs to protect certain kinds of information for reasons of confidentiality, which I think most members understand, and to protect legally, commercially sensitive information that could cause harm were it to be made public,” said Rogers. Continue…

58% of Canadians think foreign aid ends up in corrupt hands

Canadians are questioning the benefit of the $6.6 billion in foreign aid Ottawa sends to other countries annually.

According to Blacklock’s Reporter, a Department of Foreign Affairs report titled Canadians’ Views On International Assistance Tracking Study shows that most people are worried that their taxpayer dollars are funding corrupt regimes abroad.

“Many Canadians think international aid is ineffective and that corporations, the United Nations and international non-government organizations can do more to reduce poverty than the Canadian government,” wrote department officials.

The department polled Canadians on how they viewed foreign aid spending and 58% of those polled felt “a lot of international aid from Canada ends up in the pockets of corrupt politicians in the developing world and that most international aid does not get to the intended recipients.”

“Results also reveal only one in four Canadians, 26%, believes government spending on international aid is effective,” researchers observed. “Almost twice as many, 42%, think government spending is ineffective.” Continue…

Health Canada shuts down COVID Alert app

The application, which cost taxpayers $20 million in development, maintenance and promotion, had just 57,000 positive tests uploaded in its nearly two-year lifespan.

Health Canada announced that it has pulled the plug on the country's COVID Alert app, as notifications are suspended and users were encouraged to delete the application.

Having launched on July 31, 2020, just under 7-million Canadians downloaded the federal government's app. Around 57,000 Canadians who tested positive for COVID-19 then used the app to notify other users of possible exposure.

While around 20% of the country's population downloaded the program, the 57,000 positive cases shared on the COVID Alert app averages out approximately 80 positive tests upload per day. On August 7, only a week after the launch of the app, Canada recorded more than 400 new cases of COVID-19; at the height of daily case numbers, thousands of positive tests were being recorded daily.

Data obtained by The Canadian Press found that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's government spent $20 million on the creation, advertising and rollout of the COVID Alert app, with $15.9 million going to promotion and $3.5 million to development and maintenance.

“While the pandemic is not over, the decision to decommission COVID Alert comes after careful consideration following discussions with provinces and territories on the ongoing evolution of public health programming that varies in each jurisdiction,” the statement from Health Canada reads.

“We encourage everyone to stay aware of COVID-19 activity in their local area, stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations, including getting booster doses, and continue to take personal precautions including staying home if sick, improving ventilation and continuing to wear masks when with people in shared indoor or crowded spaces,” Health Canada concluded, while linking to instructions on how to remove the application from mobile phones.

World's largest cricket farm finishes construction in London, Ontario

The massive facility will employ just 60 workers and will rely mostly on artificial intelligence, technology that won the developers awards from the United Nations for commitment to Sustainable Development Goals.

Canada is now home to the world's largest cricket farm, as construction firm EllisDon announced on Twitter that development at Aspire Food Group's new plant in London, Ontario was finished.

The massive facility run by Aspire, which the CBC describes as “a global industry leader in the production of edible insects,” will generate 9,000 metric tons of crickets that can be consumed by humans and pets, Canadian Manufacturing reported.

The outlet also reported that Aspire claims to already have orders for the next two years, and Producer.com says that around four-billion crickets will soon be transferred to the facility.

With food costs rising worldwide, the company hopes more consumers will purchase crickets as a cheap source of protein.

Just 60 employees will work at the massive facility, which is mostly operated through artificial intelligence. The technology used by Aspire even landed the company on a yearly top 10 list for AI, compiled by the International Research Center in Artificial Intelligence (IRCAI), a subset of the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization, London Inc. magazine reported.

While Vettel is showing his concern for Canada's so-called climate criminality, he seems unbothered by what some might consider his own. After all, he does spend all year flying first class around the world from one exotic locale to another to race high-emitting cars. This year's F1 circuit has stops in Spain, Monaco, Montreal, Italy, the United States, Australia, Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia.

Human rights don't seem to be a consideration for Vittel, either.

The Saudi kingdom-controlled Oil Company, Aramco based in Dhahran is a leading sponsor of F1 racing. Vettel wears the Aramco logo on his racing suit.

Saudi Arabia has been identified as one of the world's worst human rights offenders, frequently handing down lengthy prison sentences and torture on political dissidents and their families. Women in the KSA face systemic discrimination in relation to marriage, family, divorce, and decisions relating to children, including child custody. Women are also subject to strict religious dress laws.

As of 2020, Aramco is one of the largest companies in the world by revenue. In May, the state-backed company overtook Apple as the world's most valuable company after an 80% surge in profits in the first quarter of 2022, a spike caused in part by the Russian war on Ukraine.

Some, including this author, accuse Vettel's homeland of Germany of playing a major role in funding the Russian war effort through purchase contracts with Kremlin-controlled gas company, Gazprom. This fact has apparently not made its way into Vittel's dashboard. Gazprom earned more than $20 billion USD from sales to Europe in the first two months of 2022.

According to DW, Germany buys 50% of its natural gas from Russia and Germany took in 20% of all gas exports produced by the expansionist oligarchy.

In contrast, the oil sands play a role in affirming human rights and minority prosperity. A recent brief prepared by the Oilsands Community Alliance detailed the economic benefit to Canada's indigenous peoples through oil and gas partnerships.

In 2019, Indigenous companies in the Wood Buffalo region had direct business valued at $1.7 billion with oil sands operators — 22% higher than in 2018 and 45% higher than in 2017. Indigenous people made up 7.4% of the industry’s workforce in 2019 when the percentage of the Canadian population identifying as Indigenous in Canada is just 4.9%.

None of this is to say that Skynet will take over, but along the way to a robot/AI driven economy — which seems to be the direction we're headed in — what space will be left for us? Will VR be our bread and butter as we humans facilitate this digital takeover of industry?

How many industries will envelope themselves in these new technological advances and should we be concerned?

In the energy industry some claim they are in a transitionary phase towards 'green energy' and part of that is the digitalization of most work efforts.

Perhaps in the interim to this new mode of industry we will amalgamate ourselves through VR, but with the rate of change being what it is, we may just be too slow to catch up, and where would that leave us?

Adam van Koeverden was then challenged by a Conservative MP in the House of Commons, only then deciding to apologize for his remark.

According to Liberal MPs, everything is fine now, since the person who said this outrageous reply apologized. However, the people Rebel News spoke to on the streets of Ottawa disagree with this conclusion.

On the other hand, Conservative MPs had an easy time when it came to answering my question.

One stated that “this is something you shouldn’t say to someone that you represent, or anyone, really.”

“It’s just out of a matter of respect.”

This is clearly a different opinion than the one Liberal MPs such as Pablo Rodriguez hold.

When it comes to the citizens, on that issue, they align more with the Conservative MP questioned, than with Rodriguez’s friends.

Indeed, one citizen explained that “You don’t expect a member of Parliament to be reacting like that.”

This incident proves just how out of touch Liberal MPs really are with the public.

With several freedom demonstrations planned for this year’s Canada Day in Ottawa, Ottawa police are gearing up and say they will have an “unprecedented” response.

According to the Canadian Press, “An Ottawa police officer says this Canada Day will be “unprecedented and unique” with a never-before-seen security posture as the main events take place off Parliament Hill, and protests are planned throughout the day.”

“Police are aware of the demonstrations and are “planning accordingly,” said the officer.”

Additionally, Canadian Heritage says they’re working with police, having held a technical briefing today for their Canada Day plans. Journalists were only allowed to attend the briefing on the condition that the names of officials involved not be disclosed.

Ottawa police have further stated that they stand for Canadians’ right to protest but will “not allow for the conditions that led to the unlawful protests in February to reoccur.”

Canada Heritage previously announced that they would not allow Canadians to participate in the annual Canada Day celebration at Parliament Hill due to construction after two years of cancelling it due to COVID.

They added that the Canada Day party, which usually sees thousands flock to Ottawa, is being moved to the LeBreton Flats approximately 1.5km Westwards.

As it stands, there are several protests against the remaining COVID mandates planned for Canada Day, which are expected to be attended by many Freedom Convoy protesters from February.

Additionally, this is the same day CAF veteran James Topp will complete his cross-country march to the capital city.

McMaster University holds segregated graduation ceremony for black students

Hamilton’s McMaster University held its first segregated graduation ceremony for “Black identifying students” on Monday.

The ceremony was separate from McMaster’s convocation ceremonies, and those who registered were able to attend. Black students were not obligated to attend.

According to the university, the segregated ceremony brought together “students, family, friends, faculty and community partners” to celebrate black students who are part of the class of 2022.

In addition to giving a special graduation garment that represents African American pride to the first 100 students who registered for the ceremony – McMaster also gave out a number of awards dedicated to “Black identifying students.”

The graduation ceremony was organized by the university’s Black Student Success Centre manager, Faith Ogunkoya.

Ogunkoya told CBC the ceremony was “very much about mitigating that social isolation that happens when you feel — in a predominately white institution — you’re outnumbered.”

She added, “what was important was to make sure I brought together Black faculty members, Black staff members and the students themselves.”

“The whole day was about celebrating and centering Blackness.”

The ceremony featured the singing of “Lift Every Voice and Sing”, a hymn that has been dubbed as the “Black National Anthem”.

Dr. Gary Warner, who was McMaster’s only black professor when he started teaching in 1967, also gave remarks.

He highlighted the 2020 George Floyd protests, which he claims “heightened consciousness.”

He also praised the university’s decision to hire a “associate vice-president of equity” as well as 20 new black professors.

McMaster University is not the first Canadian postsecondary institution to hold a segregated graduation ceremony for black students. A special graduation ceremony dedicated to black students also took place at The University of Toronto in 2017.

Gia Pastion, a Native American influencer from Canada known for her food videos through funny skits, died unexpectedly on June 11 at 19.

Her grieving family confirmed her passing through a social media post but did not provide further details.

Here are some main points from the video. Dr. Clare Craig, a diagnostic pathologist with the HART group, is describing the Pfizer Covid vaccine trial that used 4,526 children (6 months to 4 years old). On the basis of this trial, Pfizer is requesting EUA (emergency use authorization) from the FDA for its vaccine in this age group where there is supposed to be a serious risk of injury or death from Covid. Yet there isn’t in children, of this young age or any other.

So, Pfizer recruited 4,526 children for their Covid vaccine trial, yet 3,000 didn’t make it to the end of the trial. Why? That alone should have been enough to get the trial cancelled.

‘Severe Covid’ was defined as children having a slightly elevated heart rate or taking a few extra breaths per minute (ER: this is Covid?). 6 children presented like this in the vaccine group, with just one in the placebo group. Which probably means that the vaccine is causing Covid. (One vaccinated child was hospitalized during the trial with a fever and seizure.)

In the 3-week waiting period after the first dose of the vaccine, 34 children got Covid and only 13 in the placebo group. So vaccinated kids had a 30% higher chance of catching Covid in that 3-week period. But Pfizer ignored that data.

Between the 2nd and 3rd dose, there was an 8 week gap during which children got ‘plenty’ of Covid in the vaccinated group. There were also cases of Covid happening in the weeks following the 3rd dose. All this data was ignored, which meant that, overall, 97% of the Covid cases were ignored.

Pfizer ended up looking at very tiny numbers to justify their claims. They ended up comparing 3 (three) vaccinated children with 7 (seven) non-vaccinated placebo recipients, and claimed on that basis that the vaccine was effective.

In the follow-up period, 12 children had Covid twice; 11 of those were vaccinated, mostly with 3 doses. So what are they thinking, claiming that the vaccine reduces Covid on the basis of THREE children when in fact 11 of them got Covid twice?

And all this was done with NO LONG-TERM SAFEY DATA!

How could this trial have been approved by an ethics committee for babies who aren’t at risk from Covid? And now Pfizer is using this data with the FDA to get EUA granted.

Then, after just 6 weeks, the non-vaccinated children in the placebo group WERE VACCINATED. Which means there is no comparison safety data beyond a mere 6 weeks.

University of Ottawa professor faces international backlash for shaming maskless flight attendant

University of Ottawa law and epidemiology professor Amir Attaran is facing international backlash for shaming a maskless United Airlines flight attendant on social media.

On Saturday, Attaran posted a picture of a flight attendant on a United flight from Ottawa to Chicago and accused the airline of breaking the law because “masks are required on all flights out of Canada.”

Transport Canada says masks are mandatory on all flights to and from Canada, a policy that has created confusion given that masking is not required on planes in America.

“Canada is not the USA, you f***ers,” said Attaran, who added that United should be banned from operating flights to Canada for not following the Trudeau government’s mask mandates.

Attaran’s online conduct was quickly criticized by Canadian and international figures from all sides of the political spectrum.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis spokesperson Christina Pushaw called the University of Ottawa professor’s actions creepy, and suggested he should not fly if he “can’t handle seeing someone’s face.”

Pushaw also called out United’s response to Attaran and accused the airline of throwing its employees under the bus. United had thanked Attaran for bringing the issue to their attention.

Fox News personality Greg Gutfeld and BlazeTv podcast host Elijah Schaffer also reacted to Attaran’s tweets.

Progressive personalities including Huffington Post contributor Yashar Ali and former The Young Turks correspondent Emma Vigeland also criticized Attaran’s actions.

Meanwhile, former University of Toronto professor Jordan Peterson reacted to Attaran’s tweets by calling him a “pathetic ranfink” and a “horrible piece of work.”

Attaran responded to Peterson’s criticism by claiming he was a baby. He also challenged him to a public debate in Ottawa.

This is not the first time that the University of Ottawa professor has caused controversy for his conduct on social media.

Attaran, whose Twitter bio states that he “wrecks grifters, anti-vaxxers & scientific illiterates,” has also come under fire for comments he made about unvaccinated people.

Attaran previously called those who do not believe in Covid vaccinations racist, low life trash, losers, stupid, villiage idiots, homophobic and anti-Semetic.

The Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) wants to update the dress code for schools in its jurisdiction so it allows students to expose their cleavage, abdomen and undergarments.

Draft Board Policy 6010: Student Dress cites the WRDSB’s commitment to “forstering inclusive environments” and anti-discrimination to justify the updated policy.

“Previously, student dress codes detrimentally impacted students who are female-identifying, Indigenous, Black, racialized, gender diverse, transgender and non-binary, and/or financially insecure, students with disabilities, and/or those experiencing other forms of marginalizations,” wrote the WRDSB.

The Code of Conduct for Students as of 2018 prohibited revealing clothing and exposed undergarments like bra straps.

“Skirts and shorts must be an appropriate length as determined by Administration,” the policy reads. “Bare and midriffs or halter tops or off-the-shoulder tops or muscle shirts are not allowed.”

“Undergarments (e.g. bra strap, thong, boxers) must not be visible,” it continued.

The latest draft policy hopes to overturn all of those restrictions and allow tops that “expose shoulders, abdomen, midriff, neck lines and/or cleavage.”

“Bottoms may expose legs, thighs and hips,” the draft policy states. “Straps and waistbands may be exposed.”

If adopted, the policy would specifically require that all clothing be worn “in such a way that all bottom layers cover groin and buttocks and top layers cover nipples, both with opague material.”

The WRDSB is not the first school to cite equity and discrimination to justify laxing their dress code policies. Continue…

Vaccine mandate ending for Windsor and Brampton Stellantis auto workers

Stellantis is being forced to end its vaccine mandate on June 25 following an arbitrator’s ruling that it no longer serves a purpose.

This decision comes after arbitrator Marilyn A. Nairn sided with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Canada, a Stellantis subsidiary, that mandatory vaccination was no longer a reasonable policy.

On Friday, she said, “I am prepared to provide the Employer with a short window to consider and address whatever flows from this decision before the Policy is vacated.” Still, the Stellantis’ vaccine mandate will be “of no force or effect” beginning June 25.

Nairn added that while she believed the vaccine mandate was “reasonable” back in October 2021, this has changed.

According to the arbitrator, out of 262 unvaccinated employees, 123 (half) have sought a medical or religious exemption.

While Unifor initially supported the policy at the national level, employees say they were being unfairly discriminated against for their personal health choices.

According to CTV News, “About two weeks after the policy was released, a grievance was filed by three unions representing workers at the Windsor Assembly Plant (WAP), the WAP’s security unit and the Brampton Assembly Plant.”

Unifor Local 444 President Dave Cassidy also said that he believed that “nobody should lose their job because of something they didn’t want to put in their body,” adding that the Stellantis’ vaccine mandate has been “the most divisive issue” since he took on the role of union president.

“People are frustrated when nobody has income coming in…I understand the frustrations that people have. So today is a good day,” Cassidy said.

He now says that he’ll be working with employees to come back to work and “get their benefits” back.

On Sunday, Moderna’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Paul Burton announced the vaccine maker had officially kicked off phase 1 “human trials” for its new two-in-one Flu-Covid jab.

According to Burton, who spoke exclusively with 9News Australia, phase one clinical trials for the hybrid vaccine are currently underway and progressing on schedule, with the new treatment expected to be rolled out between late 2023 and early 2024.

“A phase one trial of a combination flu and Covid vaccine is currently underway. Moderna plans to have that vaccine ready by next year or by early 2024.”

Moderna’s CMO also announced that the company is currently working on a “triple-threat” vaccine that will be made available sometime in 2024 or 2025, following the rollout of the hybrid ‘Flu-Rona’ vaccine. The third-generation treatment will also target a lung infection called respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), which is a common, contagious virus that causes infections of the respiratory tract, according to the CDC.

Just like with Covid, RSV has an extremely low mortality rate for the vast majority of people. But, the sCiEnCe says we need another experimental vaccine – and you must take it.

Initial “human trials” for this triple vaccine are also expected to begin by the end of this year.

Burton explained:

“We have a three-in-one, which is Covid, Flu, and something called RSV. These are all respiratory pathogens that kill people young and old every year.”

Despite the undeniable failure of the vaccine’s effectiveness, Burton described the experimental hybrid treatment as necessary, especially in the face of the new Omicron subvariants that are spreading across the west. He promoted Moderna’s latest iteration of the mRNA vaccine – the also-failed, Omicron-specific boosters – as the temporary solution until the new version is rolled out next year.

“I think BA.4 and 5 are concerning, they’re more transmissible, they have more immune escape, this is something we have to take very seriously. I don’t think it’s as severe and dangerous as delta…

…Spikevax was a good vaccine two years ago, it’s still a very good vaccine today, but we need a variant adapted booster and that’s what we have generated now.”

A new study has concluded that male fertility is reduced for several months following Pfizer’s COVID-19 injection.

An Israeli study co-authored by seven doctors and which has undergone full peer review took samples from sperm donors to find that 75 to 120 days following the injection male sperm concentration reduced by 15.4%, while sperm sperm motility decreased by 22.1%.

Published June 17, 2022, the study analyzed samples from 37 sperm donors – aged between 21 and 30 – starting prior to receiving a Pfizer COVID-19 shot and finishing some five months later. The time periods of the samples taken were:

T0: Prior to vaccination

T1: 15 – 45 days after vaccination

T2: 75 – 120 days after vaccination

T3: 150 or more after vaccination

The study wrote that while “no significant change” in sperm concentration or motility was found at T1 (15 to 45 days post injection), the sperm concentration was “significantly lower” in samples taken at testing period T2.

The T2 samples of sperm concentration were found to be “significantly lower due to decrease of -15.4%” than those prior to vaccination, wrote the authors.

This translated to an average reduction of 12 million/ml of sperm concentration during the T2 samples, compared to the pre-vaccination samples. An average reduction of 31.2 million motile sperm was also noted during the same time period.

Notably, the authors did not say what the sperm concentration was prior to vaccination, but sought to allay fears by adding that a “recovery” was found in samples taken later in the T3 testing stage, although no detail was given at this point in the study about what the “recovery” consisted of. Carolyn Burjoski is a former elementary school teacher who objected to a school board decision to promote books on sexuality as part of the curriculum for all elementary students.

The Justice Centre announced Tuesday that legal action is being taken against the Waterloo Region District School Board on behalf of Carolyn Burjoski.

Ms. Burjoski, a former elementary school teacher, was expelled from a school board meeting after she objected to Board decisions to ban library books deemed “harmful,” and to include books on sexuality as part of the curriculum for all elementary students.

Ms. Burjoski attended the meeting, open to the public, on January 17, 2022, and attempted to make a 10-minute presentation to express her views, emphasizing that the proposed sex-ed materials would sexualize children and downplay the risks of medical sex transition.

Ms. Burjoski’s presentation included a passage from a book called Rick, by Alex Gino, about a young boy whose friend talks about naked girls all the time. The boy decides that there must be something wrong with him because he has no sexual feelings, so he declares his “asexual identity.”

The presentation also showed a passage from a book entitled The Other Boy, by M.G. Hennessy, which deals with a girl who identifies as a boy and takes puberty blockers and testosterone as part of a medical sex transition. Ms. Burjoski commented that some of the books “make it seem simple or even cool to take puberty blockers and opposite sex hormones.”

Ms. Burjoski’s presentation was cut off after four minutes by Chairperson Scott Piatkowski, who alleged that it violated the Ontario Human Rights Code. The Board voted to uphold Mr. Piatowski’s decision, and Ms. Burjoski was expelled from the meeting. Continue…

Ottawa is working on a new law that would provide the authority to expropriate sanctioned funds, the finance minister says

Canadian Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland said on Tuesday that the country is considering passing a law allowing the confiscation of sanctioned Russian assets.

“We hope that budget legislation will be adopted in the coming days. For the first time for Canada, it includes measures that will allow the confiscation of frozen and sanctioned assets,” Freeland told journalists. She added that the issue has been already discussed with the United States and other allies.

“It's very important to find funds to rebuild Ukraine. And I can't think of a better source of that funding than confiscated Russian assets,” she said.

Canada has imposed sanctions on more than 1,000 individuals and entities from and in Russia.

In April, Ottawa said it would change its legislation to give the government new authority to seize and sell the assets of sanctioned Russian individuals and give the proceeds to Ukraine.

The defense minister vowed to help the US upgrade North American missile systems

Ottawa has committed to investing at least $3.8 billion over the next six years to modernize the joint US-Canadian early warning system known as North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), Defense Minister Anita Anand announced on Monday.

“As autocracies like Russia threaten the rules-based international order that has protected us for decades, as our climate changes and as our competitors develop new technologies like hypersonic weapons and advanced cruise missiles, there is a pressing need to modernize Canada's NORAD capabilities,” Anand said as cited by CBC.

The initial $3.8 billion (Can$4.9 billion) investment is just the first part of an even more ambitious plan to spend up to $31 billion (Can$40 billion) over the next two decades, Anand said. She did not provide a specific breakdown of where the money will go, but named several areas the initiative will focus on, including an Arctic over-the-horizon radar system, a space-based surveillance project, and a new system called ‘Crossbow’ with early warning sensors deployed across the country.

Speaking at an airbase in Trenton, Ontario, Anand repeatedly pointed to Russia’s military operation in Ukraine as the reason Ottawa decided to commit billions towards upgrading the aging missile warning system.

“NORAD has continually adapted and evolved in response to new threats. Today, we turn another page and begin NORAD’s next chapter,” Anand said, providing no specific timeline, adding that all existing systems will remain active until the expected upgrades are in place.

Canada ranks second for highest debt accumulated since 2019

A new study by the Fraser Institute has ranked Canada as having the second-highest spike in debt accumulation from 2019 to 2021 out of 33 other developed nations.

Canada sat only behind Japan for the amount of debt increase relative to gross domestic product.

According to Fraser Institute economist Tegan Hill, despite the serious amount of debt taken on by governments in Canada, the economy actually underperformed.

“Despite Canada’s comparatively high debt accumulation during the pandemic, which many argued would result in strong economic performance, we actually underperformed most of our peers,” said Hill in a press release.

The study relied on data provided by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) which stated during that period, Canada’s gross debt-to-GDP retio spiked by nearly a quarter from 87.2% in 2019 to 112.1% in 2021.

Although governments heaped on debt, economic growth lagged behind.

When it comes to how much the economy actually grew, Canada came in 23rd out of the same countries with an inflation-adjusted growth of -5.2%. Continue…

A new report casts shade on the political independence of the RCMP after it was alleged that Commissioner Brenda Lucki promised Liberal Public Safety Minister Bill Blair and the Prime Minister’s Office to use a mass shooting towards implementing gun control measures.

According to the Halifax Examiner, Lucki “made a promise” to Blair in the midst of the 2020 Nova Scotia mass shooting. Soon after Lucki pressured her officers to release information regarding the weapons used by the killer.

Notes by RCMP officers responding to the shooting reveal that Lucki was not happy with the way law enforcement responded to the incident in relation to the guns used by the shooter, Gabriel Wortman.

“The Commissioner was obviously upset. She did not raise her voice but her choice of words was indicative of her overall dissatisfaction with our work. The Commissioner accused us (me) of disrespecting her by not following her instructions. I was and remain confused over this,” wrote RCMP Support Services officer Darren Campbell.

It’s defined “a life-threatening or life-altering injury that may require in-person hospitalization, or a prolongation of existing hospitalization, and results in persistent or significant disability or incapacity, or where the outcome is a congenital malformation or death.”

That’s right, death. For the 100% safe and effective novel biologics.

Trudeau wasted over $100 million on expired vaccines

The 13.6 million expired AstraZeneca vaccines that Trudeau donated to foreign countries is estimated to have cost Canadian taxpayers over $100 million.

As per a report from the National Post, “According to a document tabled in the House of Commons last week, the government disposed of roughly 1.2 million doses of Moderna vaccines that expired either in mid-March or mid-April this year.”

“But that wastage is just a drop in the bucket compared to the nearly 13.6 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccines that the government donated to other countries last year and that sat in the manufacturer’s warehouses until they expired, according to new data provided to the National Post by Health Canada.”

According to the Financial Times, doses of AstraZeneca were priced at roughly $3 to $4 per dose when mass-produced, and governments secured orders of the COVID vaccine.

But this is inaccurate in the case of Canada. Trudeau managed to bungle the deal and secured 20 million doses at more than double that price.

“The only cost per dose revealed so far was released by accident when the price for the AstraZeneca-Oxford vaccine was accidentally left in an email included in a package of documents released to the health committee. That email said Canada would pay $8.18 per dose of AstraZeneca, which would amount to $163 million for the 20 million doses ordered,” the CBC reported in June 2021, just a month before Trudeau announced he’d be donating most AstraZeneca vaccines to foreign countries.

At $8.18 per dose of AstraZeneca, that means that the Trudeau government is estimated to have spent a whopping $111,248,000 on vaccines that were never needed or even wanted, as COVAX was flooded by other countries similarly pawning off their unwanted AstraZeneca vaccines after it was found to cause blood clots.

Moreover, the original agreement was to send even more AstraZeneca vaccines to COVAX that would expire — a total of 17.7 million doses.

And that’s just for AstraZeneca. Both the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines — for which Canada paid a premium — were even more expensive, and many of these are also either already expired or will expire soon.

However, even this is just the tip of the iceberg regarding how much Trudeau sent to COVAX.

In July 2021, the Trudeau government donated an additional $10 million to COVAX, which was on top of a $440 million in prior donations.

Overall, had the PM had better foresight or financial planning, hundreds of millions of dollars could have been saved throughout the pandemic.

Masks not included in Liberal single-use plastic ban

On Tuesday, Liberal Environment Minister and former Greenpeace radical Steven Guilbeault announced that the federal government would ban single-use plastics in Canada, but the ban didn’t include single-use COVID masks.

The new regulations would apply to several products like checkout bags, cutlery, foodware, ring carriers, stir sticks, and straws.

“We promised Canadians we would deliver a ban on single-use plastics. Today, that’s exactly what we’ve done. By the end of the year, you won’t be able to manufacture or import these harmful plastics,” said Guilbeault.

“After that, businesses will begin offering the sustainable solutions Canadians want, whether that’s paper straws or reusable bags. With these new regulations, we’re taking a historic step forward in reducing plastic pollution, and keeping our communities and the places we love clean.”

The ban is expected to begin in December 2022. The Liberals claim that it will eliminate up to 1.3 million in plastic waste.

Unsurprisingly one of the largest causes of plastic pollution during the Coronavirus pandemic, face masks, was absent from the list.

The Liberal government, in fact, has no intention to ban plastic masks despite a horde of unrecyclable masks worn by Canadians ending up in landfills.

Northern Ontario has had to bear the brunt of plastic waste due to mask use.

“I feel we’ve moved backwards a little bit, and it’s become a little more acceptable to litter,” said Clean North member Abby Obenchain.

“I don’t know what to do with this mask, so I’m just going to drop it on the ground.”

Moreover, the microplastics found in face masks have been shown to be not only bad for the environment but bad for your health.

According to the systematic review of over 57 studies published in the National Center of Biotechnology in 2021, t “Face masks release microplastics, which are directly inhaled during use or transported through the environment. The latter can adsorb chemical contaminants and harbor pathogenic microbiota, and once consumed by organisms, they can translocate to multiple organs upon intake, potentially causing detrimental and cytotoxic effects.

Besides reusable masks, there are currently no recyclable masks on the market. According to McMaster University Engineering Professor Rakeshu Sahu the problem will likely remain well into the future.

“I see this problem is going to persist for at least a few years in the future and for that we need to have a solution,” says Sahu.

Quintana Roo – Two Canadians were found dead with their throats slashed in Mexico’s Playa del Carmen, state officials said on Tuesday.

The couple was found dead at a hotel condominium and a security guard was injured, Quintana Roo state prosecutors said.

The deceased male was on Interpol’s wanted list for fraud.

Two Canadians — one of them sought by Interpol — have been found dead of knife wounds in Mexico’s Caribbean coast resort of Playa del Carmen, the state prosecutor’s office said Tuesday.

Prosecutors in Quintana Roo state, also home to resorts like Cancun and Tulum, said the man and the woman were found dead Monday at a hotel or condominium in the troubled resort, and a third person was reported injured.

There was no immediate information on their names or hometowns. “Global Affairs Canada is aware of the death of two Canadian citizens in Mexico,” the ministry said in a statement.

But prosecutors confirmed the male victim was on an Interpol wanted list for fraud charges.

News of the executed couple comes as violence in Mexico’s resort towns of Tulum and Cancun explode.

Cartel violence has spilled over into the tourist resorts along Mexico’s Caribbean coast.

Last October two travel bloggers visiting Tulum were caught in the crossfire of rival gangs and died.

A new peer-reviewed Israeli study found that male fertility declines significantly following Pfizer jabs.

Months earlier this year based on whistleblower data, attorney Thomas Renz explained that a 344% increase in male infertility occurred in 2021, compared to the five-year average from 2016 through 2020.

Female infertility also rose significantly by 471% as did miscarriages at 279% compared to the previous five-year average.

Claims contrary to the above represent coverup and denial — by US/Western regimes, their anti-public health agencies and MSM press agents.

On Monday according to UK National Statistics, the Gateway Pundit reported that they revealed “almost 530,000 deaths” from January 2021 – March 2022 following kill shots.

The above figure is in stark contrast to around 134,000 deaths over the same time frame among the unjabbed — from all causes.

On Monday, Health Impact News reported data to show that 82% of pregnant woman jabbed for alleged flu/covid protection not gotten suffered miscarriages, adding:

“There are no second chances (for) victims of” flu/covid jabs. Damage done is irreparable.

According to official US data, flu/covid jabs increase the risk of developing shingles (a viral infection causing a painful rash) by over 4,900%.

Jabs are also responsible for the vast majority of flu/covid cases, along with any one or more serious illnesses, including cancer, heart disease, strokes and diabetes.

Last month, French and Swiss neurologists reported data to show the significant risk of developing neurodegenerative Creutzfeldt-Jakob brain disease following kill shots — what leads to dementia and premature death.

Retired neurosurgeon, Dr. Russell Blaylock, earlier explained the dangers of masking, including the risk of neurological problems, saying:

“By wearing a mask, the exhaled viruses will not be able to escape and will concentrate in the nasal passages, enter the olfactory nerves and travel into the brain.”

Masking “reduces blood oxygen levels even when the wearer is standing still.”

Highly touted N95 masks “reduce blood oxygenation by as much as 20% and this can lead to a loss of consciousness.”

When Coca-Cola, Gillette, Disney, BP, and other multinational corporations act counter to good business practices to advance a political agenda antithetical to the beliefs of most of their consumer base it is an effort to improve the new value-based credit score known as ESG. As corporations respond to investors and the credit score used to determine societal value, they push agendas intended to move the Overton Window and cultural acceptance towards a more progressive agenda.

There has been a notable push in recent years, especially in the United States and Canada, to actively promote transgenderism in the young population.

An international non-profit group known for promoting radical “transgender health” ideology is now saying that the chemical and/or genital alteration of a child’s natural body can be started as young as 14.

The Associated Press reported that it was provided an advance copy of the World Professional Association for Transgender Health’s (WPATH) forthcoming “gender transition” recommendations, which will be published in a medical journal later this year.

According to WPATH, so-called “gender transition” treatment, which includes genital alteration surgery and chemical hormone treatment, can now be given at younger ages, essentially in kids who have not yet fully matured.

The group, which is one of the leading promoters of what it calls “transgender health” in the world, had earlier recommended that both hormone treatment and/or genital manipulation surgery on boys or girls could start at 16.

WPATH even went so far as to acknowledge that there are potential risks in such so-called “therapy” for kids at a young age but claimed withholding such treatment would hurt kids.

The latest release by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine documents reveals numerous instances of participants who sustained severe adverse events during Phase 3 trials. Some of these participants withdrew from the trials, some were dropped and some died.

The 80,000-page document cache includes an extensive set of Case Report Forms (CRFs) from Pfizer Phase 3 trials conducted at various locations in the U.S., in addition to other documentation pertaining to participants in Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine trials in the U.S. and worldwide.

The FDA on June 1 released the documents, which pertain to the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) of the vaccine, as part of a court-ordered disclosure schedule stemming from an expedited Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request filed in August 2021.

Public Health and Medical Professionals for Transparency (PHMPT), a group of doctors and public health professionals, submitted the FOIA request.

Ottawa is exploring ways to return crucial parts for Russia’s Nord Stream pipeline, which are currently stuck in Canada due to sanctions, Bloomberg reported on Tuesday citing Canadian Minister of Natural Resources Jonathan Wilkinson.

“We want to respect the sanctions because the sanctions were put into place for a reason. That being said, the intent of the sanctions was never to cause significant pain to Germany, which is one of our closest friends and allies. So, we are very seized with this issue,” Wilkinson told the news outlet.

“We are talking to Germany, trying to find a pathway through which we can actually enable the flow of gas. There may be different options that we can look at,” he stated, adding that Ottawa is negotiating with Berlin on ways to return the equipment.

Russia’s energy supplier Gazprom was forced to slash natural gas flows to Germany via the Nord Stream pipeline by 60% last week, because Siemens turbines from Gazprom’s Portovaya pumping station in Vyborg were stuck in Montreal, where they were sent to undergo maintenance. The parts fall under Canada’s sanctions against Russia, and the country says it cannot return them without breaching these restrictions.

According to the German Federal Grid Agency, the reduction in gas flow affected the supply of Russian gas from Germany to other European countries, including France, Austria and the Czech Republic.

The situation prompted these and other EU countries to announce emergency measures this week aimed at reducing the use of natural gas. Some countries have claimed that the reduction of gas flows was a political decision made by Moscow to increase pressure on Europe. Gazprom says the issue is technical.

Veteran James Topp meets with MPs on Parliament Hill

Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) veteran James Topp took a break from his march across Canada Wednesday to meet with Members of Parliament in Ottawa.

Topp began marching from Vancouver to Ottawa in February to protest the government’s vaccine mandates and restrictions.

He is set to return to Deep River, ON so he can continue his 4000 KM march. Topp is scheduled to formally arrive at the National War Memorial on Jun. 30 at 6pm.

Two formal meetings were held today inside Parliament’s Valour Building. True North attended the first meeting. A second meeting took place on Wednesday afternoon.

In his opening statement, Topp said that he has heard from a lot of people who are dissatisfied with the current Trudeau government.

He also addressed growing divisions in Canada, which he says resembles what he has seen in war zones.

Instead of accepting a 310-page petition signed on behalf of concerned citizens, the fearless leaders at the Tim Hortons Foundation Camps home office called the police.

Earlier this week, I attempted to submit a 310-page petition to the listed “home office” of Tim Hortons Foundation Camps in St. George, Ontario.

My videographer Isabelle and I made the trek to represent the nearly 27,000 signatories who went out of their way to sign my petition at Let Kids Camp.com.

The basis of the petition was that simple: let kids camp regardless of their medical choices.

To put this all into context – it was brought to my attention a few months ago that the managers at Tims Camps were imposing unscientific and discriminatory mandates on all of their staff and youth aged 12 and up. They are still enforcing full vaccination of all campers and staff despite all government directives being long removed. Oddly, Tims Camps does not post this policy or any relevant information about it publicly. The tip came to me anonymously from a concerned parent who was able to forward me communications between them and camp coordinator, Julie Proulx.

Homelessness running rampant in Edmonton despite '10-year plan'

An ambitious 10-year plan announced in 2009 to end homelessness in Edmonton has failed miserably. That plan, cobbled together by a blue-ribbon panel called the Edmonton Committee to End Homelessness, concluded that “shelters and drop-in centres and other emergency supports, do not solve the problem of homelessness, they simply manage the crisis.”

In 2009, it concluded that, to be successful, the city had to focus on 'Housing First.' Fast forward past that 10-year plan to the current year 2022 and it’s evident that the City of Edmonton has failed dismally in its approach to homelessness.

Indeed, a recently released report by the city’s auditor roasted the city for failing to properly address homelessness. The auditor’s report found that the city’s effort isn’t accountable. It isn’t properly coordinated. And the city doesn’t even know how much it spends on its failed attempts to solve the problem.

The report was damning: “Homelessness in Edmonton has increased. A clear plan, accountability, and evaluation can help clarify the City of Edmonton’s role in the broader community-led effort to end homelessness and improve decision-making, reduce operating conflicts and quantify the value of the work performed.”

To Edmonton visitors, the site of legions of homeless people — especially in and around the inner city — is alarming. Several people Rebel News spoke to likened our downtown inner city to Vancouver’s notorious East Hastings neighbourhood. Continue…

Air Canada recently “deplaned” 25 people from a flight out of Montreal without giving an explanation to the passengers.

“We understand that there are allegations that, in the course of removing these passengers, certain unrelated individuals were deplaned as well,” Air Canada said in an email statement.

“Some of these deplaned customers were rebooked this morning and are on their way to their final destination.”

According to BC couple Josh Slatkoff and Tara Sharpe, the two were on the way to attend Sharpe’s grandmother’s funeral when police abruptly escorted them off the plane at 12:30 am, leaving them stranded in the airport before being kicked out at 2:00 am and heading to a hotel.

“The next row in front of us was also removed, and that included a couple that was in their 70s. At that point, I was completely shocked. We had no idea what to make of what was happening,” Slatkoff told CBC News in an interview.

“Then the Air Canada attendant pointed at our row, and he told us we needed to leave as well.”

According to Slatkoff, airline staff initially told him that they, and other passengers, were kicked off the flight for drinking and not wearing a mask, which Slatkoff said was bogus.

“We showed our masks, N95s, and I said to her, ‘Does this look like the kind of mask someone would wear if they were refusing to wear a mask?'”

Slatkoff said that despite Air Canada’s statement, he and his wife still wait for things to be set right.

This latest debacle comes after videos emerged showing abhorrent flight wait times and cancellations in Canadian airports across the country, leaving many stranded for days.

Despite numerous complaints from airlines and travellers, Liberal Transport Minister Omar Alghabra recently said that the feds have no intentions to end ArriveCan (just one of the hoops travellers must jump through), which continues to wreak havoc in Canada’s travel industry.

PM Justin Trudeau has decided to take a trip to Rwanda while the Liberal Party deals with yet another earth-shattering scandal that’s led to even more calls of resignation.

According to Trudeau’s itinerary, the PM will arrive in Kigali, Rwanda, later today at 5:40 pm. Of course, the media is invited to a “pooled photo opportunity” for the occasion.

There have been no reports on whether the former drama teacher and renowned costume lover will wear traditional Rwandan dress during his stay in Kigali.

Among the topics being discussed in Rwanda with other leaders will be African food security and Russia — all international concerns.

Meanwhile, back in Canada, the Liberals are facing yet another scandal, this time stemming from a Hamilton Examiner report that RCMP Commissioner Brenda Lucki allegedly pressured her subordinates into jeopardizing the Nova Scotia massacre investigation to support Justin Trudeau’s incoming gun grab.
