An explosive device was found outside the family home of a California councilwoman Tuesday morning, prompting law enforcement to evacuate the area. The explosive was planted near San José Councilwoman Dev Davis’ house in Willow Glen and spotted by a neighbor, who reported the “suspicious device,” according to a NBC Bay Area report. A San José bomb squad responded and evacuated the Davis family and surrounding neighbors. The bomb unit confirmed that the device was explosive and removed it from the property by the afternoon without incident, police said.

Trump had a near-perfect night in the South Carolina, Nevada, and North Dakota primaries Tuesday evening as 12 candidates secured their nominations, while only one lost her race. Trump’s endorsement record now stands at 129-8 in Republican primaries this midterm election cycle. South Carolina: State Rep. Russell Fry thumped incumbent Rep. Tom Rice in the primary race for South Carolina’s Seventh Congressional District. Rice joined nine other House Republicans in voting for Trump’s impeachment for “incitement of insurrection,” which led to the South Carolina Republican Party censuring him, Breitbart News previously reported.

In a virtual Axios event on Thursday, Gina McCarthy, Joe Biden’s top climate official, urged tech companies to suppress truthful information about climate issues: “The tech companies have to stop allowing specific individuals over and over again to spread disinformation,” she told Axios’ Alexi McCammond at a virtual event that aired Thursday. “We need the tech companies to really jump in,” McCarthy said. “Really jump in” means to ban, suspend, delete and censor views on climate issues different from those of the Biden administration’s extremists, like McCarthy. McCarthy said that overall, the problem of disinformation has shifted from disputing the reality of climate change… No one has disputed the “reality of climate change.”
