GOP Election Worker ARRESTED For Not Wearing Face Mask During Training Session At Former TCF Center Where Face Masks Are NOT Mandatory!

DIRTY DETROIT ELECTION OFFICIALS ARE AT IT AGAIN…

100 Percent Fed Up Exclusive – The 2020 election put the former TCF Center on the map after dirty Detroit election officials were exposed for thug tactics that were used against GOP poll watchers to threaten and intimidate them.

In 2020, on the day after the election, GOP poll challengers were bullied, shouted down, and followed around the room by outside agitators. They were arrested and removed from the TCF Center by Detroit Police officers many times for not adhering to made-up rules by supervisors. There were no actions taken against Democrat poll challengers or outside agitators who appeared to be brought in to help Detroit election workers threaten GOP poll challengers and take them off their game.

Many of the GOP poll challengers left the TCF Center the day after the election on their own accord over safety concerns, while the majority of GOP poll challengers who left for lunch were locked out of the counting area. Inside the counting room, Democrats had a section with tables and chairs where their poll challengers and outside agitators could get water and food. The GOP poll challengers had to go upstairs to a room designated for the workers on the 2nd floor. When they arrived back at the counting room from lunch, they discovered the door to the counting room had been chained shut. Cardboard pizza boxes from the tables where Democrat poll challengers and outside agitators had just finished their lunch were used to cover the windows into the counting area so they couldn’t see into the room.

Of the small group of GOP poll challengers who remained in the counting room, several were eventually thrown out or arrested as paid election workers stood up and cheered. Many of the GOP poll challengers left on their own accord after an exhausting day of being forced to stand on a cold cement floor with no chairs available to them and afraid to leave the room over the fear of being refused entry back inside.

FIFA Announces 2026 World Cup Host Cities in North America

The 2026 FIFA World Cup was won by a joint bid from the North American countries of Mexico, Canada, and the United States. The 2018 World Cup, hosted by Russia, saw a total of 3.572 billion people watch the games, and roughly 6.8 million tourists traveled to host cities to watch the games.

While FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is still set to begin in November, FIFA is already announcing where in North America the 2026 games will be held.

On Thursday, FIFA announced the North American cities that will host the 2026 World Cup. Individual cities across Mexico, Canada, and the U.S. watched live as the organization announced 16 cities which they selected from a list of 22, each city hoping to win their bid.

In order to reduce travel, said FIFA president Gianni Infantino, the organization grouped cities by regions; East, Central, and West. Infantino said the decision was to “ensure fans did not have to travel too far, to ensure everyone has a fantastic experience.”

The cities that will be lucky enough to host the 23rd quadrennial international men’s association football championship will include: Toronto (BMO Field), Boston (Gillette Stadium, Foxborough), Philadelphia (Lincoln Financial Field), Miami (Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens), and New York in a joint bid with New Jersey (MetLife Stadium) in the East region.

Those in the Central region include: Kansas City (Arrowhead Stadium), Dallas (AT&T Stadium), Atlanta (Mercedes Benz Stadium), Houston (NRG Stadium), Monterrey, Mexico (Estadio BBVA), and Mexico City (Estadio Azteca).

The Western region will encompass Vancouver (BC Place), Seattle (Lumen Field), San Francisco (Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara), Los Angeles (SoFi Stadium, Inglewood), and Guadalajara, Mexico (Estadio Akron).

All games in the United States will be played at a National Football League stadium, and seven of the 11 American stadiums (MetLife Stadium, Gillette Stadium, AT&T Stadium, Mercedes Benz Stadium, NRG Stadium, Lumen Field, and SoFi Stadium) utilize artificial turf.

Cities that lost their bids included Cincinnati, Denver, Nashville, Orlando, Pasadena, Washington, DC (which went for a joint bid with Baltimore), and the Canadian city of Edmonton.

Folks in Kansas City, Missouri, watched as they learned they would be one of 11 cities to host the World Cup in 2026. The city known for their steaks and barbecue has a population of about 500,000 people, making it one of the smallest cities to be chosen apart from Miami and Atlanta.

Prime Minister says gas generators were 'gaming' the energy crisis and threatening supply

The Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has accused gas generators of "gaming" the system, taking advantage of the energy crisis and forcing an unprecedented intervention by the market operator.

Key points:

The Prime Minister has accused gas companies of gaming the system

He says the market rules provide a disincentive for generators to operate in a crisis

The WA Premier says the east coast needs a gas reservation mechanism

Some generators withdrew from the market this week, after soaring power prices were capped, and were then compensated by the market operator when directed to pump power into the network.

The Australian Energy Market Operator announced it was taking over the energy market on Wednesday, after it said the market was failing to operate.

Mr Albanese said there's a disincentive built into the power market for generators to operate properly.

"There was a bit of gaming going on of the system, which is why AEMO used its tools at its disposal to intervene, so we do have these short-term issues," he said.

The new Prime Minister has already flagged he will seek to rewrite the rules on how the energy market operates to prevent a situation in the future where gas generators would hold back on supply as they wait for the compensation trigger.

Salon: GOP ‘World’s Largest’ White Supremacist Group, ‘De Facto Terrorist Organization’

“White America,” which is “too comfortable” with the suffering of black people and needs to be “purged” of its “allegiance to white supremacy,” should be “ashamed” after the Buffalo mass shooting, according to a recent Salon piece that accuses the GOP of being a “de facto terrorist organization” as well as the “world’s largest white supremacist” group.

The Tuesday essay titled “A month after Buffalo: Is white America ashamed — or has it already forgotten?” and penned by Salon politics staff writer Chauncey DeVega, bears the subheading, “White supremacist delusions that drove Buffalo shooter are now in the GOP mainstream. So much for a reckoning.”

DeVega begins by claiming the mass shooting in Buffalo last month that killed ten people “has been all but washed away by the onrushing torrent of the news cycle,” if not entirely forgotten.

“For Black people, Buffalo offered one more example of existential terror, one more illustration that Black people in America cannot safely do the most mundane things without facing the danger of racist violence,” he writes.

He also claims that “white America” has both forgotten the incident and become “too comfortable” with the “misery, pain, and death” of black Americans.

“Within less than a month, the Buffalo massacre has largely been forgotten by America’s mainstream news media, white opinion leaders, and the white public as a whole,” he writes.

“White America is entirely too comfortable with Black and brown people’s misery, pain and death — and has used it as the scaffolding for a larger culture of cruelty, oppression and exploitation,” he added.

DeVega then quotes journalist Chris Hedges, who argued that “White people built their supremacy in America and globally with violence.”

“They massacred Native Americans and stole their land. They kidnapped Africans, shipped them as cargo to the Americas, and then enslaved, lynched, imprisoned and impoverished Black people for generations,” Hedges wrote.

“They have always gunned down Black people with impunity, a historical reality only recently discernible to most white people because of cell phone videos of killings,” he added.

Consequently, DeVega asks if the Buffalo mass shooting has “led to a collective reckoning or great awakening for white America, finally willing to purge its racism and its allegiance to white supremacy.”

“It has not,” he asserts.

According to DeVega, “for many Republicans and Trump followers, overt white supremacy and racial authoritarianism have been mainstreamed, franchised and laundered into something positive and noble in the alternate reality of MAGA World.”

In that same light, the Buffalo attack did not “force a sane response to America’s sick gun culture” either, he writes.

KEK PANIC

Why unvaccinated people are NOT at less risk of being hospitalised with Covid: Experts tear apart flawed survey which anti-vaxxers have hailed as proof that jabs were never needed

Claim came from a survey of 18,000 people who refused to get Covid vaccines

Authors claimed only 0.4% of their group were hospitalised with the virus

This was less than the 0.6% of people being hospitalised in America, they claim

Authors of the study are natural and alternative medics and a weight loss GP

But British virus experts have blasted the survey, calling it 'flawed' and 'biased'

Research being peddled by anti-vaxxers as proof that Covid jabs don't work was today branded a desperate attempt to 'legitimise quasiscience'.

The survey, based on answers from 18,500 members of an anti-vaxx group, claims hospitalisation rates were lower among the unvaccinated.

The authors suggested this was, in part, due to the usage of vitamins and largely debunked Covid 'cures' ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine.

It was hailed by anti-vaxxers online, who called it a 'vindication' of their beliefs and celebrated the publication of 'real science'.

But leading scientists today criticised the 'flawed' and 'biased' research, produced by a 'natural health' specialist, alternative healers and a doctor who runs a weight loss business.

ASX smashed with a 2.5 per cent drop after horror week as recession fears deepen

Any hope of recovery after a horror week for the economy is being dashed, as the nation’s biggest companies are seeing their values drop again.

Any small hope of recovery after a horror week for the Australian economy will be dashed today, after global markets saw heavy losses and the Australian Stock Exchange took a dive in early trading.

In what looks to be a very difficult Friday, Australian shares have dropped 2.5 per cent in the first 30 minutes of tradingas rising interest rates in the US, the UK and Switzerland in the last 24 hours stoked recession concerns.

The Australian market had steadied after Tuesday’s bloodbath, but a small amount of optimism looks to have vanished this morning — with the top 200 companies on the ASX now worth 8.36 per cent less than they were just five days ago.

All sectors are lower — with tech faring the worst. That sector has dropped 3.8 per cent as shares in Afterpay-owner Block sank 7.2 per cent in early trade.

The big four banks are all in the red - CBA falling 3.3 per cent, ANZ down 2.2 per cent, NAB 2.8 per cent and Westpac 2 per cent.

Albanese invited to visit Kyiv by Ukraine president

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has been invited to visit Ukraine by the president of the war-torn country - and could visit later this month.

Albanese will travel to Europe for a NATO summit in late June and there are reports he could make the short journey to Kyiv after the two-day meeting.

The prime minister will attend the summit in Madrid in a show of support for the security alliance by nations in the Asia Pacific.

A spokesman for the Ukrainian embassy in Canberra confirmed to 9News that last month President Volodymyr Zelenskyy invited Albanese to visit Kyiv in a letter congratulating him on the Labor federal election victory.

The Ukraine embassy spokesman said there were "special arrangements" in place for the safe journey of VIPs to the war-torn nation.

The prime minister's office has been contacted by 9News for comment.

On Thursday (Ukraine time) French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Italian Premier Mario Draghi travelled to Ukraine on a special train from Poland.

Many in Ukraine hoped that the leaders' visit could mark a turning point by opening the way to significant new arms supplies and it also comes as EU leaders prepare to make a decision next week on Ukraine's request to become a candidate for membership in the bloc.

Their visit came amid a new round of Western arms pledges for Ukraine as the war grinds on in the eastern Donbas region.

The US and its European allies have given billions of dollars in weaponry to Ukraine, and Germany and the US recently announced new arms shipments.

Such arms have been key to the country's surprising success in preventing the Russians from taking the capital, but officials in Kyiv have said much more will be needed if they are to drive Moscow's forces out.

Ghislaine Maxwell asks for lighter sentence due to 'difficult' childhood

Lawyers for Ghislaine Maxwell have asked a judge to sentence her to a significantly lower sentence than recommended by the government, saying her difficult childhood made her vulnerable to Jeffrey Epstein and that she shouldn't face a harsh sentence because of his actions.

Maxwell, 60, was convicted by a jury in December of five federal charges, including sex trafficking of a minor, after a month-long trial where jurors heard testimony about her relationship with the late Epstein. Prosecutors argued during Maxwell's trial that she helped him set up a scheme to lure young girls into sexual relationships between 1994 to 2004.

Epstein was found dead in a federal detention facility shortly after being indicted for allegedly running a sex trafficking ring of underage girls, and Maxwell was arrested the following year.

"But this Court cannot sentence Ms Maxwell as if she were a proxy for Epstein simply because Epstein is no longer here," Maxwell's attorney said in their sentencing recommendation.

"Ms Maxwell cannot and should not bear all the punishment for which Epstein should have been held responsible."

Prosecutors are expected to make their sentencing recommendation by June 22, and Maxwell is scheduled to be sentenced on June 28. The probation department recommended a 20-year sentence, below the sentencing guidelines.

CNN has reached out to prosecutors for comment on Maxwell's sentencing recommendation.

In Maxwell's request for a more lenient sentence, her attorneys said it would be a "travesty of justice" if Maxwell faced a sentence appropriate for Epstein. They recommended that she receive between four years three months and five years three months years in prison.

While a jury convicted Maxwell on five counts, she will only be sentenced on three after the judge presiding over her case agreed that two of the conspiracy counts she faced were repetitive.

"Ms Maxwell has already experienced hard time during detention under conditions far more onerous and punitive than any experienced by a typical pretrial detainee, and she is preparing to spend significantly more time behind bars," Maxwell's attorneys wrote.

"Her life has been ruined. Since Epstein's death, her life has been threatened and death threats continue while she is incarcerated."

Citing a "difficult, traumatic childhood" with an overbearing father, Maxwell's attorneys say she was "vulnerable" to Epstein, and that meeting him was the "biggest mistake she made in her life." Maxwell's attorneys say she has not been accused of "anything untoward" in the 15 years since her relationship with Epstein ended.

Maxwell has been detained since her arrest in July 2020, and her attorneys say her time behind bars has been a "disproportionate pre-sentence punishment" that will not end now that she's housed with the general population.

Her attorneys claim she was most recently threatened by an inmate in her unit who allegedly told her that an additional 20 years in prison would be "worth the money" she'd get for killing Maxwell.

Her attorneys also argue she's subject to multiple pat downs a day where she alleges "to have been touched in a sexually inappropriate manner by correction officers" several times.
