What is and why is there a 'critical theory'?
Critical theory extends from the same Young Hegelian logic that spawned Karl Marx mid-19th century.
Hegel's logic was to be the 'final' statement on the philosophy of the Mind. The Greeks exhausted the "physical" logic. Hegel's logic was to 'complete' philosophy as such, utopia on Earth, etc.
