Darkness is merely the absence of Light.

Is Evil merely the absence of Good?

When God created Light, He said it was Good.

Was He shining the Light on Evil?

Since Satan is a fallen angel, he apparently was not created evil, he became evil. Where did the evil come from? Did evil always exist, jut like God has always existed. Did God create the Evil, by shining a Light on it?

Even when this Old World passes away and God creates a New Heaven and a New Earth, evil will still exist, because it will be where the Demons will exist. Hell.

So evil will never cease to exist, we will just be separated from it in the New Heaven and the New Earth.

I don't get it either.

It's all a mystery.

The Light that He created on the first day had nothing to do with Sunlight, because the sun, moon, and stars weren't created until the 4th day, according to Genesis.

So what is the Light?

Energy?

Goodness.

IDK

The Beginning

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

3 And God said, โ€œLet there be light,โ€ and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light โ€œday,โ€ and the darkness he called โ€œnight.โ€ And there was evening, and there was morningโ€”the first day.

>gates at the entrance of Heaven

The Bible uses words and explanations for stuff in a way that our human brains can visualize.

The use of the word gates is not literal.

But it seems to imply that it will be a place that is protected from evil entering it.

I guess Evil had access to the Garden of Eden.

>Kumulipo sufferns no such confusion about sources of light.

Isn't it interdasting though, that every culture and every religion around the world for thousands of years, all seem to have their own Creation story.

Apparently, it will not be.

Matthew 22:30 provides a clear answer to the question of whether there will be marriage in heaven. Jesus stated, "For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven." Jesus personally stated that marriage would not exist in heaven. Many have speculated as to why marriage will not exist in heaven.

There is no point in trying to imagine it, because our puny human brains are incapable.

It will be beyond anything that we are humanly capable of imagining in our present form.

If you believe what the Bible says.

Other religions, obviously have different ideas.

>By the time we're no longer here, but in Heaven, evil will have been completely dealt with by Jesus Christ.

Evil has already been completely dealt with by Jesus when He died on the cross and descended into Hell for us and conquered it. He literally went to Hell & Back for us.

Goodnight, fren. Sleep well.

God could have created robots, but He didn't, He created people with the freedom to choose. He created angels with the freedom to choose too. But once the angels chose evil, there was no second chance, no Savior for them who would pay the price for their mistakes. Maybe that is why the Devil is so jealous of people.

Not exactly. Read the verse.

Luke 17:1-2

New International Version

Jesus said to his disciples: โ€œThings that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come. 2 It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.
