Adriver in Minnesota who reportedly led police recently on a high-speed chase and fired at them with a handgun is allegedly an illegal immigrant who has been deported at least seven times in the recent past.

The suspect, Pablo Nava Jaimes, reportedly fired 10 shots at police in the alcohol-fueled getaway attempt – from St. Paul to nearby White Bear Lake.

The suspect had allegedly consumed eight or nine beers at a cookout prior to the June 5 incident.

Jaimes and his wife were arrested during the incident. A federal government spokesman says Jaimes was in the country illegally and had already been deported multiple times.

"Pablo Nava-Jaimes, 31, is a citizen of Mexico and unlawfully present in the United States. Nava-Jaimes illegally entered the United States at an unknown date and at an unknown location," the Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesperson told Alpha News. "United States Border Patrol encountered and voluntarily removed Nava-Jaimes from the U.S. on at least seven occasions between 2008 and 2010."

Jaimes was reportedly arrested 2021 at least twice, but in neither case was he deported, Alpha News also reported.

The suspect, meanwhile, appeared in court earlier this month on charges stemming from the police chase and had his bail lowered from $5 million to $100,000.

BUDAPEST, Hungary (AP) — World swimming’s governing body has effectively banned transgender women from competing in women’s events, starting Monday.

FINA members widely adopted a new “gender inclusion policy” on Sunday that only permits swimmers who transitioned before age 12 to compete in women’s events. The organization also proposed an “open competition category.”

“This is not saying that people are encouraged to transition by the age of 12. It’s what the scientists are saying, that if you transition after the start of puberty, you have an advantage, which is unfair,” James Pearce, who is the spokesperson for FINA president Husain Al-Musallam, told The Associated Press.

“They’re not saying everyone should transition by age 11, that’s ridiculous. You can’t transition by that age in most countries and hopefully you wouldn’t be encouraged to. Basically, what they’re saying is that it is not feasible for people who have transitioned to compete without having an advantage.”

Pearce confirmed there are currently no transgender women competing in elite levels of swimming.

The World Professional Association for Transgender Health just lowered its recommended minimum age for starting gender transition hormone treatment to 14 and some surgeries to 15 or 17.

FINA’s new 24-page policy also proposed a new “open competition” category. The organization said it was setting up “a new working group that will spend the next six months looking at the most effective ways to set up this new category.”

According to a report by Breitbart, the Internal Revenue Service has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars buying ammunition, raising concern about why a government agency is buying ammunition that the administration plans to restrict further in the coming months.

On Saturday, Congressman Matt Gaetz told Breitbart that the IRS spent approximately $700,000 “between March and June 1” purchasing ammunition.

Gaetz called the IRS’s acquisition of the ammunition “bizarre.” He said, “There is concern that this is part of a broader effort to have any entity in the federal government buy up ammo to reduce the amount of ammunition that is in supply, while at the same time, making it harder to produce ammo.”

The Congressman went on to propose a potential scenario where federal agencies are buying up ammunition and putting citizens in a situation where they cannot exercise their Second Amendment rights due to the inability to get ammunition.

He expressed concern that the government intended to reduce ammunition production “and, on the other hand, [soaks] up the supply of it.” It is something he feels is a direct violation of the rights of Americans.
