Dr. Fauci: When You’re in an Indoor Setting, You Should Wear a Mask Even Though the Whole World, Including the US and UK Are Worn Out and Tired

Covid-infected Dr. Fauci this weekend fired off another warning shot and said the pandemic isn’t over.

Fauci urged people to get vaccinated and boosted even though latest CDC data show Covid-19 infections are higher in boosted Americans compared to the unboosted.

Dr. Fauci also advised people to wear a mask in indoor settings.

Fauci has flip-flopped on mask-wearing several times throughout the pandemic.

On March, 8 2020 — Dr. Anthony Fauci advised healthy Americans against wearing face masks.

In April 2020 — The CDC said Americans should be wearing face masks for the COVID.

In May 2020 — Dr. Anthony Fauci and the New England Journal of Medicine have admitted that masks are little more than symbols. Virtue signaling.

On January 25, 2021 — Dr. Fauci told healthy Americans to wear two masks instead of one.

And then one week later…

On January 31, 2021 —Dr. Fauci backtracked on that insane idea of wearing multiple masks.

“Hopefully the more people that get vaccinated and boosted and the more people that realize the importance of when you have a high level of viral dynamics that when you’re in an indoor setting you should wear a mask, even though the whole world including the United States and the UK are just worn out and tired by this outbreak — it isn’t over yet,” Fauci said.

Fauci continued, “People need to realize it is never going to go back to zero. That’s not the nature of this virus.”

So masks forever?

Russia Demands Lithuania Lift "Openly Hostile" Blockade; Panic Buying Ensues

Update (1100ET): The Russian Foreign Ministry has responded to Lithuania's partial blockade of Kaliningrad, writing in a statement that they consider the "provocative measures" to be "openly hostile" and warning that the Kremlin may take action to "protect its national interests."

Kaliningrad is sandwiched between the EU and NATO members Poland and Lithuania. Supplies from Russia are delivered via rail and gas pipelines through Lithuania - which announced last week that it was banning the rail transit of goods subject to EU sanctions, which include coal, advanced technology, metals and construction materials.

"If in the near future cargo transit between the Kaliningrad region and the rest of the territory of the Russian Federation through Lithuania is not restored in full, then Russia reserves the right to take actions to protect its national interests," the statement reads.

They have demanded that Lithuania immediately lift the ban on a number of goods to the Kaliningrad region.

Earlier Monday, the Kremlin called Lithuania's announcement "unprecedented" and "in violation of everything there is."

"The situation is more than serious and it requires a very deep analysis before formulating any measures and decisions," said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in a statement to the press.

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis said they were simply complying with sanctions imposed by the EU, and that they were taken after "consultation with the European Commission and under its guidelines."

"Sanctioned goods (will) no longer be allowed to transit Lithuanian territory," he added.

Kaliningrad governor Anton Alikhanov says that the ban, which was confirmed on Friday, affects roughly 50% of all imports. He urged citizens not to panic-buy…

Boris Johnson hospitalized for surgery

The British PM was ‘briefly’ anesthetized for a sinus operation

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson was briefly hospitalized under anesthetic on Monday for what his office called a “minor and routine” sinus operation. He is reportedly resting at home, with Deputy PM Dominic Raab serving in his stead until he recovers.

Johnson is expected to return to work on Tuesday depending on “how he feels,” including visiting Rwanda for a Commonwealth heads of government meeting. However, any significant military decisions – such as moves regarding the conflict in Ukraine – made within the next 24 hours are likely to be left up to Raab.

NHS guidance regarding general anesthetic warns against “driving, drinking alcohol and signing any legal documents for 24 to 48 hours” after a procedure, noting that the drugs can affect memory and concentration.

While the nature of Johnson’s surgery was not disclosed, The Guardian suggested he had been subjected to a functional endoscopic sinus surgery for chronic sinusitis. The procedure widens the sinuses without making any cuts to the face.

Johnson’s office refused to disclose whether the PM had skipped the gargantuan 6.5 million-person NHS waiting list to receive the procedure, merely stating that the surgery had been scheduled “for a while.” A spokesperson said it was “certainly not [his] understanding” that the operation may have been related to Johnson’s diagnosed Covid-19 infection in 2020.

Waiting lists for basic procedures in the NHS have ballooned over the last two years, with millions of elective surgeries repeatedly postponed due to Covid-19 regulations that sought to keep hospital beds empty should they be required by virus-stricken patients. While the postponed procedures are classified as elective, such lengthy delays risk allowing non-emergency situations to spiral into fatal illness, such as diagnostic procedures that would normally catch cancers before they become inoperable.

Ukraine’s top opposition party banned

A court has ordered the assets of the country’s leading pro-Russian and Eurosceptic party transferred to the state

Ukraine’s Opposition Platform – For Life (OPPL) party was officially banned by a Ukrainian court on Monday. The Ministry of Justice announced on Facebook that all of its assets, property, and funds are to be transferred to the state.

The ruling to ban the party was carried out by the Eighth Administrative Court of Appeals in the western city of Lviv, following a request from the Ministry of Justice. The OPPL had all of its operations suspended by the authorities in Kiev in March after the launch of Moscow’s military operation, and the party and its leaders were accused of having ties to Russia and being “anti-Ukrainian.”

In its Facebook post, the ministry noted that Ukrainian courts have so far banned 11 “pro-Russian” parties suspected of acting to “undermine the sovereignty” of the country.

Before its operations were suspended, the OPPL was Ukraine’s largest opposition group and second-largest party in the country. In 2019, it won 13% of the vote in a parliamentary election, and in 2021, polls showed that it surpassed President Volodymyr Zelensky’s ‘Servant of the People’ as the most popular party.

Since 2018, it was led by Viktor Medvedchuk, a businessman who called for better relations with Russia and saw Kiev’s western turn as detrimental to national interests. In May 2021, Medvedchuk was placed under house arrest after being accused of treason amid Zelensky’s crackdown on dissent.

Medvedchuk had repeatedly denied accusations against him as “politically motivated,” and insisted he was never “pro-Russian,” but merely wanted what was best for the Ukrainian people.

On April 12, the OPPL leader was captured by the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) as he allegedly tried to flee the country. The arrest was made public after Zelensky published a photo of the man in handcuffs. The politician has since been held in custody by the SBU at an unknown location.

Medvedchuk’s wife, Oksana Marchenko, has been pleading with world leaders to organize her husband’s release or exchange and has accused the SBU of beating and torturing him.

Last week, Ukrainian courts banned two more political movements – the Left Opposition and the Party of Shariy – both of which were previously featured on the list of 11 political factions suspended by Ukraine’s Security Council.
