On September 11, 2001:

Donald Rumsfeld, who was ‘’’Jesuit’’’ educated from Georgetown University, was the Secretary of Defense and was in charge of the US Military.

George Tenet, who was also ‘’’Jesuit’’’ educated from Georgetown University, was the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, and was in charge of the collection and analysis of all foreign intelligence matters involving possible threats to the United States.

Michael Copps, who was a ‘’’Jesuit’’’ professor at Loyola University of New Orleans, ran the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and was the chief US government official for enforcing all federal regulations for interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable. He served in that position from on May 31, 2001 and served until December 31, 2011. 

On September 11, 2001:

William Joseph McDonough was President of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and was “Jesuit” educated from Georgetown University and also at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.  He was a director on the Council on Foreign Relations beginning in 1995.

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is housed in 22-story edifice located on33 Liberty Street,and includes a vault for gold storage. The New York Fed acts as the guardian and custodian of the gold on behalf of account holders, which include the U.S. government, foreign governments, other central banks, and official international organizations. 

The Comex, short for The Commodity Exchange, is the platform used for precious metals (futures) trading in New York. Before 9-11, Comex had it’s vault in the basement of WTC-4.

Nearly a thousand tons of gold and silver were kept there in a secret bi-level 6,000-square-foot vault. Not only did they hold some of the world's largest gold depositories, but they were home to stashes belonging to the CIA and secret service.   The building also housed an office of the CIA containing drugs, weapons and contraband seized by customs officers. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms also lost two evidence vaults.

Before the 9-11 attack there were 379,036 ounces of gold, stacked in 30-pound ingots. There was much more silver, in bars as big as bread loaves, weighing 70 pounds per loaf, 29,942,619 ounces. There is no verified accounting for what happened to the gold and silver after the 9-11 attack. Some believe it all was recovered. Some say a portion of it or most of it was stolen, perhaps even before the attack occurred.

Reports describing the contents of the vaults before the attack suggest that nearly $1 billion in precious metals was stored in the vaults. A figure of $650 million in a National Real Estate Investor article published after the attack is apparently based on pre-attack reports.

Rudolph Giuliani announced that "more than $230 million" worth of gold and silver bars that had been stored in a bomb-proof vault had been recovered. (New York Times article)

Rudolph Giuliani was raised a Roman Catholic and says he considers himself more a jew than a catholic. Rudy Giuliani was knighted by both the Italian House of Savoy and the British House of Windsor for his role after 9-11.

Mayor Rudolph Giuliani of New York City's knighthood in The Order of Saints Maurice and Lazarus is especially interesting because it is a Roman Catholic dynastic order of knighthood. Rudy shares this knighthood with Benito Mussolini, Prime Minister of Italy and Duce of Fascism

Thomas Van Essen is a member of the Von Essen family, who are part of the German and Swedish nobility. He is a graduate of St. Francis College, class of '72.

Kerik was raised Catholic and grew up in Paterson, New Jersey. After the 2003 invasion of Iraq, President George W. Bush appointed Kerik as the interior minister of the Iraqi Coalition Provisional Authority. In 2004, Bush nominated Kerik to lead the Department of Homeland Security.
