Caitlyn Jenner backs ban on transgender swimmers competing against biological women — 'What's fair is fair!' — and leftists go nuts
On the heels of swimming's international governing body banning transgender women from competing against biological women if they don't transition by age 12, former Olympic champion and transgender woman Caitlyn Jenner backed the ban.
“It worked!” Jenner tweeted Sunday in response to the FINA ruling. “I took a lot of heat — but what’s fair is fair! If you go through male puberty you should not be able to take medals away from females. Period.”
How are folks reacting?
Jenner being an outspoken and controversial figure means the former world champion's tweet got a lot of attention — and as you might guess, leftists hated Jenner's take. Here are some examples:

Democrat congressman’s staffer caught defacing posters in Capitol complex, but DOJ won't prosecute
Case of Rep. Jake Auchincloss’s chief of staff certain to renew debate about dual justice system after same U.S. attorney's office that prosecuted J6 defendant declines the case.
Capitol Police caught Massachusetts Democrat Rep. Jake Auchincloss’s chief of staff defacing posters outside the Capitol complex office of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene and referred him for criminal charges, but the same U.S. Attorney's office that pursued the Jan. 6 defendants declined to approve an arrest warrant, according to police documents and interviews.
Capitol Police asked federal prosecutors back in March for an arrest warrant for Timothy Hysom, 51, a longtime Democrat congressional staffer who worked for Rep. Adam Schiff before rising to be Auchincloss’s top aide, after capturing Hysom on hidden camera security footage defacing Greene’s posters with stickers with religious messages, according to copy of the arrest warrant obtained by Just the News.
Police said they believed Hysom may have been involved in seven defacing of posters outside Greene's office in the Longworth Congressional Office Building between January and March and that he declined to be interviewed when confronted. Hysom was offered a "non-custodial interview and he declined and retained counsel," the report states.
"Based on the aforementioned, it is your affiant's belief that the defendant, Timothy Duane Hysom … did violate DC Code § 22–3312.01 Defacing Public or Private Property,” the arrest warrant stated.

Officials told Just the News that Greene was informed last month that the U.S. attorney's office in Washington, D.C., which has been the lead prosecutor on Jan. 6 crimes, declined prosecution because it did not believe a federal judge would allow the case to proceed.
Greene declined comment Monday, saying she would be making a statement Tuesday.
Hysom did not immediately return an email seeking comment Monday, but Auchincloss' spokesperson sent Just the News a statement confirming the defacing had occurred but insisting that treating it as a crime was "ridiculous."
Spokesman Matt Corridoni said the real victims were people forced to read Greene's posters that stated there are only two genders – male and female – calling the message "bullying."
"While Members of Congress have great latitude in what they do on the inside of their office, they do not own the exterior walls of their office," Corridoni said. "Regulations published by the House Buildings Commission prohibit 'posters' from being posted in the hallways outside of Members' House offices in the House Office Buildings. Adhering a sticker – to a poster that shouldn't be there in the first place – is hardly a federal crime.
"What Tim did was to adhere a series of stickers to foul, mean spirited, bullying posters outside the Congresswoman's office. These stickers were never threatening and always respectful.

Migrants From India, South America Swarm Southern Border As 1 Agent Left To Process Influx
Large groups of migrants, including some from Asia, swarmed the southern border in Yuma waiting to be apprehended by agents amid a surge at the border, exclusive video footage obtained by the Daily Caller’s Jorge Ventura shows.
Large groups of migrants including women, children and even “single males from India” were seen lined up against the border wall in Yuma, Arizona at 2:45 a.m..
Others migrants said they were from Cuba, Columbia, Peru and Venezuela.
Ventura reported that despite hundreds of migrants at the border, there was only “1 border patrol agent” available to begin processing.
Ventura said some of the migrants have been smuggled by human smugglers.
Ventura reported Sunday that migrants who arrived in Yuma “fly into the Mexicali airport and take a charter bus or taxi straight to a crossing point.”
The number of migrants encountered at the southern border in May shattered records, with agents encountering 239,416 migrants, according to authorities. Roughly one quarter of those encountered had previously been encountered by authorities and 69% were single adults, according to CBP. There was a 21% increase in unaccompanied children from May.

US building new military facility near China
The U.S. military is expanding a facility in the Pacific island territory, Northern Mariana Islands, preparing it as an alternative location for military aircraft to land if the U.S. territory of Guam is targeted in a future conflict with China.
Satellite images taken earlier this month and revealed last week show work is proceeding to expand the Tinian airport. The open-source intelligence-themed Twitter account OsintTV tweeted photos of the progress, with the caption “US has begun expansion work at Tinian International Airport (Mariana Islands). Satellite imagery from June 6 shows activity to clear the airfield, which will house the new aircraft parking apron, taxiways. Completion date October 2025. Estimate US$161.8 million.”
According to The Drive, the latest images demonstrate progress in adding a new aircraft taxiway and an expanded parking apron for aircraft on the northwest end of the airport.
In May 2019, the Commonwealth Ports Authority of the Northern Mariana Islands signed an agreement with the U.S. Department of Defense, authorizing the U.S. military to lease the Tinian International Airport on the island of Tinian to act as a divert airfield for Andersen Air Force Base on Guam. Having the divert airfield in place would provide U.S. forces a base to launch and land military aircraft in the event that the runways on Andersen Air Force Base are knocked out, such as in a conflict with China.
Tinian is about 1,800 miles from the Chinese mainland and about 120 miles north of Guam.
The military development on Tinian comes as the U.S. is increasing its presence in the Indo-Pacific region. The area surrounding China consists of a series of island chains. According to a 2020 analysis by the U.S. military research think tank RAND, China is increasingly building weapons that can saturate the so-called First Island Chain, which generally consists of Taiwan, Japan’s southern Ryuku Islands and the northern islands of the Philippines. China is also beginning to obtain more weapons that can reach parts of the so-called Second Island Chain, which includes Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands.
According to the 2020 RAND analysis, the U.S. military has been increasingly betting on bolstering its presence on the Second Island Chain, as a way to back up U.S. and allied forces in the First Island Chain. The U.S. and its allies will likely try to keep the Second Island Chain in the event that Chinese forces seize control of the First and their anti-access, area-denial (A2/AD) strategy blocks the U.S. from returning to the First chain.
The recent progress in Tinian is indicative of the broader U.S. strategy to build up its presence in the Second Island Chain.

Capitol Police installed a security camera that caught a suspect a suspect putting stickers bearing religious sayings on the poster and were able to determine the alleged suspect was the chief of staff for Democrat Congressman Jake Auchincloss (MA), Timothy Hysom, 51, who previously worked for Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA). Capitol Police issued an arrest warrant for Hysom, but the Biden admin controlled U.S. Attorney’s office for the District of Columbia refused to prosecute Hysom.
