Granholm: When you see a drop of $10 per barrel, the rule of thumb is that you see a 25 cent drop in the price at the pump.

[gas is over $7/gallon in some places, you incompetent crook]

Granholm: Because the oil and gas industry has increased, and is intending to continue to increase supply…we will see prices, they are projecting, at about $4.37 at the end of the quarter.

Jean-Pierre: We're talking eighteen cents per gallon [federal gas tax], which is going a long way…the average of states is thirty cents…that's almost fifty cents. That's going to go a long way.

Reporter: What specific data did he [Biden] look at?

Jean-Pierre: He talks to his economic team…they present him with information that he needs with any other decision that he makes, uh…that..uh…that deals with a decision like this.

Reporter: CBS has reporting that showed that those Afghans applying for parole, remotely from Afghanistan, that 90% have been denied. 90% of some 5000 applicants. Is that program working as it should be?

Jean-Pierre: We are aware of the report. We are reviewing it at this time. We are not ready to speak about it publicly.

Jean-Pierre: We have been above and beyond. We have been transparent. We have broken down how we have been spending the funds. We've been doing this for several months. The bottom line is, every day that congress fails to act puts us further behind other countries in securing that COVID response funding and the resources we need.

"A former West Virginia lawmaker who livestreamed himself on Facebook storming the U.S. Capitol and cheering on what he described as a “revolution” was sentenced Wednesday to three months in prison. Derrick Evans, 37, who pleaded guilty to a felony civil disorder charge, told the judge that he regrets his actions every day and is a “good person who unfortunately was caught up in a moment.” The Republican from Prichard, West Virginia, was sworn in as a member of the state's House of Delegates just weeks before the Jan. 6, 2021, riot that halted the certification of President Joe Biden's victory and left more than 100 police officers injured. Evans was arrested two days after the riot and promptly resigned a month before the start of the legislative session, so he never served a day in the legislature. Prosecutors had sought the three months behind bars, describing Evans as a leader in the riot who escalated the chaos at the Capitol by enthusiastically egging on the rioters around him. U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth told Evans said time behind bars was necessary to reflect the seriousness of Evans' actions and help prevent something like the riot from ever happening again."

>State and USAID's sudden refusal to cooperate is particularly surprising

>afghan earthquake timing

The State Department has historically been full of CIA, and USAID is also an agency front. It certainly is interesting timing.
