Dire weeks ahead as Woolworths predicts prolonged shortage across range of vegetables

Shoppers have been warned of dire vegetable supply issues, with Woolworths revealing it doesn’t expect improvements for several weeks.

Woolworths has warned of dire weeks ahead as extreme shortages across fresh produce continue to cause shopping chaos.

The retailer gave a grim insight into the month ahead in its latest Fresh Market supply update, revealing customers may need to get used to seeing shelves looking particularly bare.

Shoppers have been informed that fresh herb supply had been so significantly affected that it was unlikely to be available in usual quantities until August.

“You might notice gaps in our supply of fresh herbs due to poor weather conditions. We’re expecting availability to get better from August,” the update read.

Consumers weren’t only facing a herb-free July though, with a host of other fresh items unavailable until late next month.

Challenging growing conditions had caused disruption to the zucchini supply, meaning the vegetable was unlikely to appear back on shelves until the end of July.

“Availability is expected to improve in four weeks as the weather begins to warm up in growing regions,” the zucchini update read.

Dr. Oz Drops Trump Branding From His Website, Signaling A Departure From America First

Dr. Mehmet Oz, the television celebrity and Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania, had dropped former President Trump from his campaign content as the hotly contested Senate election enters the final stretch of the midterm cycle.

Trump was a central figure of Oz’s initial campaign, frequently appearing in his ads before any endorsement by Trump. Then, in mid-April, Trump offered an official endorsement of the television host turned politician.

In April, Trump became a constant fixture in Oz’s campaign ads. Trump was featured in a series of six-second issue ads on guns, abortion, and energy. Oz’s ads all carried the same “endorsed by President Trump” banner to grab voters’ attention.

Even the Dr.’s Twitter account mentioned Trump more than 70 times from April 9 until the primary day on May 17.

But, it appears Oz has decided to depart from utilizing the endorsement and is cutting all mention of Trump from his campaign.

The ad that followed Oz’s win in the bid for the Republican nomination didn’t mention or include footage of Trump.

Oz’s social media has changed as well.

His banners across multiple platforms now say “Thank you, Pennsylvania,” and feature a photo of him without Trump.

Oz’s Twitter bio no longer advertises him as the “Trump Endorsed Candidate for U.S. Senate,” and he hasn’t tweeted about Trump since May 17.

Additionally, Oz’s campaign website no longer features a pop-up fundraiser plea exploiting his Trump endorsement.

On his profile on Trump’s Truth Social, he still mentions the endorsement, but the candidate has not posted or shared any related content since winning the primary.

While no surprise to many, the change comes at the height of the January 6 hearings, and as Oz has continued to signal support for many ideals that do not align with the America First policies. The move prompted radio host Kimberly Klacik to call Oz and “Snake.”

Utah GOP Rep. Curtis’s Field Director Submits Resignation Following Project Veritas Investigation

Utah GOP Rep. John Curtis’s Field Director Daniel Stephens submitted his resignation following Project Veritas’ investigation.

“I would like to give you my resignation,” Stephens said in a phone call on Wednesday.

Project Veritas on Tuesday evening released shocking undercover footage from inside Utah GOP Congressman John Curtis’s re-election campaign.

According to Curtis’s Campaign Field Director Daniel Stephens, the RINO Rep. hides his views on abortion from voters.

If Roe v Wade is overturned, Utah’s “trigger law” will effectively ban abortion.

Rep. Curtis’s campaign director said the GOP Congressman does not like the trigger laws.

“He has not come out and stated it – that’s the problem when it comes to the Republican primary,” Curtis’s campaign director said. “He Won’t win.”

Stephens said Curtis only ran as a Republican because he believed it would be ineffective to run as a Democrat: “They just won’t vote for you.”

“So it’s voter ignorance?” the PV journalist asked Stephens.

“Yeah,” he said confirming the Congressman uses “voter ignorance to win.”
