Kek. Not a shit hole existence, oh judgmental one. Lived very rural for 30 years and have a big garden. Leafy greens are cool weather crops and if you want them fresh year round, they need grown out of the summer heat starting about June. Thus the patio pots in a shadier, cooler area.
