Wow! It's been 10 years? Read this book before the discovery. I think it was 1998 or 1999 time frame. The Wheeler Particle hypothesis/thought experiment was the precursor towards the Higgs Boson.
I'll have to read up on it.
I remember the Wheeler Particle was a particle that moved so fast that it existed everywhere at once, and our observations we physically unable to observe the Wheeler Particle in any of the static states of its manifestation.
