💢 This fresh group of Ukrainian prisoners from near Popasnaya, all draftees, haven’t eaten since they arrived to their post two days ago, had to be fed and given cigarettes shortly after surrender.

There are fears of surrendering. When the fears of dying or starving outweigh these, one surrenders.

Then one realises surrender should have happened sooner.
