Even if the owners can subdue the "protest" PR problem, they will burn eternal for what the NFL has and is doing to the retired players suffering from early onset dementia as a result of the years of hiding and lying about the effects of the hitting induced brain trauma.
The old times have not only been screwed financially, but are shells of their former selves. Micro-Hemorrhaged brains, loss of all short term memory, no longer able to care for themselves.
The NFL has effectively refused to pay these players for the injuries they sustained years ago through the damages won in a class action lawsuit. Many will be dead before the NFL is FORCED to pay out…
